"𝐃𝐚𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐞?" auntie called

"𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡?" i asked

"𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲?" she asked while smiling

i smiled back and hummed in response while nodding, but my smile slowly disappeared and asked

"𝐈𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠?" Dad already missed three of my birthday on a strike, Dad works abroad and now i'm living with my aunt and uncle, he only do video call, but i'm still not satisfied, i want him here!, but i can't be angry at him, i know why he's in abroad working hard, i woudn't be on my school if he didn't worked abroad, yes we were rich before, but we got bankrupt since Dad can't focuse anymore and we also lose most of our riches for Mom's death investigation yet we still got nothing, they still don't have a clue to identify the killer and its motive, i swear when i turn thirteen i'll just invetigate myself! I can't wait anymore! I want justice!

Now i'm currently twelve years old, one year more and i'm gonna take action myself, i think the police doesn't even care about my mother's case anymore!

I got back to reality and realised i was spacing out

"𝐃𝐚𝐡, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠?" aunt asked while waving a hand infront of my face

i looked at her "𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐢 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭" i answered with a slight pout on my face, she chuckled

"𝐈 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐰-" i didn't even let her finish, a big bright smile was planted on my face while jumping shouting "𝐘𝐚𝐲!!!~" i was so happy and excited, dad is coming! FINALLY! This is one of my happiest birthday ever!

My aunt just smiled brightly from seeing me so happy

I stopped my celebration when i heard to doorbell rang, "𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞-" aunt said and i quickly ran towards the door and opened it then hugged the person, i didn't even look who is it

But something seems wrong, he isn't hugging back, the perfume smells different..

"𝐃-𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧.." aunt called, i slowly looked at the guy and-..... ack! I quickly broked the hug and blushed cause of embarrassment, it was just the delivery guy delivering my birthday cake!

The delivery guy blinked his eyes multiple times on me cause of confusion, i bowed and apologized

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐢 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞.." i shyly said while bowing

"𝐈-𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐢 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐤, 𝐢 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝" the guy responed and smiled, I sighed in relief but still embarrassed, this guy is so kind, i thanked him

"𝐃𝐚𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫!" Aunt playfully scolded and i giggled in embaressment, the guy chuckled, don't know but his chuckle is so cute!
