It's 9AM and raining and I've had 2 bakery hot chocolates someone stop me/s

Quackity was at his job running late.
He worked at an average cinema,nothing special.but he was a collage student who just needed some cash for vinyls and clothes.
He buttoned up his shirt before entering the cinema.
Karl:"finally your here!"
He saw Karl say from behind the counter,
His day just got a little bit better.

Quackitys heart fluttered at his uniform,
Sure it was the same as his but still,he looked so dorky in it.
Quackity leaned on the counter.
Quackity:"I'm not even late"
Karl:"actually,your 20 minutes late,your lucky in not a snitch"
Quackity:"yes Karl I'm soooooo lucky,
Maybe even lucky enough to yk....get you out of that uniform?~"
He joked.

Karl:"sorry Quackity,I charge by the hour"
Quackity clutched his heart and pretended to cry.
Karl playfully rolled his eyes.
Karl:"cmon stop goofing around,punch in"
Quackity:"what ever you say"
He said before he got behind the counter and went into the break room.
He punched in and went back to Karl.
Quackity:"busy day?"
Karl:"I don't think so,it's 70s night so probably just old people"

Quackity:"ugh,I hate when they play black and white movies,so boring.."
Karl:"I think their nice..homely.."
Karl smiled at Quackity,that dumb dorky smile.
The customers started coming in,as Karl said they were mostly old couple,but pretty cute.
About 2 hours later Quackity was working the register while Karl was making popcorn.
Quackity heard the entrance bell ring.
Quackity:"hey welcome too cine-"
He looked up.

?:"you.."
Quackity:"Ashley.."
Ashley:"whoa you- work here?.."
Quackity:"uh yea...I do.."
Ashley:"how are you Alex-?"
Quackity:"it's Quackity."
Ashley:"right..how are you,Quackity?"
Quackity:"I'm good,I'm getting pretty alright grades in college.."
Ashley:"good..cool.."
This is awkward.
Quackity:"how um-...how's mom?"
Ashley:"good..good,she's okay"
Quackity nodded as he looked away.

Ashley:"she's worried about you...we all are-"
Quackity:"I moved out,I'm an adult I-"
Ashley:"I know Quackity...just- visit someday..okay?"
Quackity tried to hold back his tears as he shrugged.
Quackity:"whatever"
Ashley smiled before she left,Since asking to see Dracula would be a bit awkward now.
Karl obviously heard the whole conversation since he was right there,but he didn't know what any of it was really about,but he was worried.

Karl:"Quackity?-"
Quackity:"excuse me"
He said on the verge of tears before leaving the cinema.
He walked out and right into the back alleyway of the cinema.
He clenched his eyes together trying not to cry as he got out a cigarette and lighter.
He lit in and started smoking.
He looked away for a second before he noticed Karl coming around the corner.
Quackity sighed.
Karl:"you alright duckling?"
He said softly.

Quackity felt his cheeks warm up,he blamed the cigarette.
Quackity didn't answer.
Karl sat down on the opposite side of Quackity.
Karl:"who was that?"
Quackity exhaled the smoke before sitting down too.
Quackity:"my sister.."
Karl:"I didn't know you had one?"
Quackity:"yea well...we kinda stopped talking"
Karl:"whys that? If you don't mind me asking..."
Quackity:"well,as soon as I left for collage I cut my family off..or I guess they cut me off.."
Karl tilted his head.

Quackity:"they didn't agree with some of the..changes..in my life,I guess"
Karl:"hm.."
Karl hugged him.
Quackity wasn't sure if it was embarrassing or nice.
He held out his cigarette too avoid Karl from inhaling the disgusting smoke.
What if someone sees us? That would be embarrassing.
No matter how much he thought about it,
He just didn't know anymore.
All he knew was that Karl cared about him,
Enough to hug him in an alleyway with the smell of smoke.

Quackity sighed and gave him.
He hugged back.
Karl:"I don't know if this counts but...I love you,and I think your perfect the way you are.."
Karl pulled away and looked at him.
Karl:"even tho I still don't fully understand your situation,it doesn't seem that fun,and I'm sorry your family can't accept you for the cool stoner emo boy you are"
Quackity couldn't help but smile.

Quackity:"thanks Karl...your really special to me.."
Karl smiled and kissed his cheek.
Karl:"wanna watch a black and white movie together?"
Quackity blushed.
Quackity:"eh..."
Karl:"cmon,you don't have a choice"
Karl smiled and took Quackitys hand.
