"oh, it is on!" hawk roared, grabbing bert and nate by their heads and pushing them back into opposite lockers.

"wait-"

gioia groaned in irritation, she would usually love a massive fight and being able to hit anyone she pleased, but she had been thinking about how different she was lately, and she knew she didn't like it.

"stop!"

"come on, gioia." a boy from cobra kai seethed, catching her attention. "i thought you were cool, don't be that girl."

"what girl?" she challenged.

"the one that 'hates' violence, acts like she's above everyone else - like some kind of princess." jack o'malley taunted.

gioia was slightly confused about why he was giving her a lecture as everyone fought around them. "hates violence?" she inquired.

"yeah." he said, smugly.

the blonde girl glared up at him, side-kicking him in the stomach. he stumbled back and grinned, glad that she had made the first move.

"i've been waiting to do this." he explained as he threw punches at her face.

she managed to dodge most of them. "do i know you?" she was pulling his leg. this was the same boy who had just tried to sit with her in biology class.

that seemed to make him even angrier, "why do you act like you're so much better than me?"

"you said it, not me... i have no idea what you're talking about." the barbusca girl pointed out. she swung her foot around, going to roundhouse kick him in the face.

but he was swift, he caught her foot and slammed her back against the lockers, making her groan out in pain. his eyes darted to her ribs, he drew his fist back and then knocked her in the chest.

gioia screamed out in pain, all those weeks of healing her bones and waiting for the bruising to disappear, just for this random guy to try to open up the wounds.

she slid down the lockers, her hand over her pounding heart. her breathing became staggered and her vision began to flash. from the ground, she brushed o'malley's legs off the floor. as he hit his back, she made it to her feet. she stamped on his stomach to 'finish him' and turned away, striving to find tory or miguel.
