"Daaaaaaabiiiiiiii!!!!!"

The door opens and Dabi sighs as he stares at his house arrested-lover, "When will you stop whining like a pig?"

"Pigs are cuter Dabi! How dare you insult them!" Hyoto accused as he lifted his foot to point at Dabi who quirked an eyebrow. His eyes light in amusement as he approached the cuffed doctor.

"Are you saying you are not cute?" Dabi asked as he pulled a key out to cuff Hyoto's hands. He sat down on the edge of the bed and pluck the key in.

"You put me so high in the pedestal and even animals are higher in whatever hierarchy than you... When are you greater than someone?"

Hyoto hummed, "Rocks?"

"Bullshit," Dabi laughed, "When you were little, you got angry at me for "kidnapping" pretty rocks from their home and demanded me to put them back where I found them. You didn't talk to me for 4 days because I "put them back" by throwing them out of your balcony."

Hyoto scowled at Dabi before sulking it off by turning his back to Dabi and lamely whispered, "I mean, those rocks must miss home right?"

Dabi's chuckling halted and his eyes traveled to the little doctor beside him face the wall. The older of the two decided to lay down beside the teenager and wrapped his long sturdy arms around Hyoto.

"They are rocks, Yuuki. They're not even alive," Dabi stated, "but... do you miss home?"

"I wouldn't miss a home I destroyed... but I do miss you, Dabi," Hyoto whispered to the solemn air.

It had been few months since he ran from Dabi. It hadn't been easy but he managed quite well. The white haired teen managed to find an unused place to use as his temporary home and base but he still couldn't help but miss his stitched up lover.

"Doctor Snow."

Turquoise eyes blinked a few times before they made their way to the caller. A kid, the same age as Hyoto with black short hair and a mole under his right eye, had called him.

"Reo-kun!" Hyoto cheered as he sat up from the sofa he slept in and spread out his arms welcoming the other. Reo cringed and didn't take another step closer to Hyoto.

Reo had been Hyoto's previous patient. They were quite close in age range. The ex-patient had found Hyoto scavenging around for a place to sleep and Reo had offered his place. That day Reo had heard of Hyoto's beliefs and the ex-patient couldn't help but agree with Hyoto. Hyoto did not think he would get an ally right off the bat.

Because Hyoto was "missing" to the heroes, the "normal" people were aware of him, and now Dabi probably also looking for the doctor Hyoto had to be extremely cautious. He had to stay in Reo's home before moving to an unused underground home that was located in the forest. It belonged to a man that had joined the group. His name was Kabu Hoshio. He had a giant build with crazy muscles everywhere.

"Anyway," Reo spoke as he approached the sitting Hyoto.

"We should be able to get rid of that sorry excuse of leg."

Hyoto grinned, "you finally created something to replace it?"

"Please don't look down on my intelligence which you lack," Hyoto felt like an arrow had pierces through his pride.

"You were asking for too much as well. How spoiled are you?"

"I am only spoiled to get my ideas in motion," countered Hyoto.

"To create an equal world where villains and heroes work together for a better future?"

A pause, Hyoto was deep in thought. It was something the doctor did, as if Reo had stroke a nerve, but Hyoto never got angry at anyone. If he was indeed angry then it was at himself.

In the past few months, Hyoto was in constant deep thought. Thinking was a plague in its own. It stressed a person and it could be poison that could drive someone insane and straight suicidal for the people who did not know how to handle the stress. Hyoto thought of himself as mentally ill just like the heroes and villains. Wanting to "save" both of them, that thought and desire alone was an illness but there was no going back.

Reo pulled Hyoto's pants down but the latter did nothing to stop the other. The straps that kept the left leg made out of wood were tight but it was easy to unfasten.

"It's going to hurt," Reo warned.

"Life is full of it, isn't it?" Hyoto cheered.

Three pills landed inside of Hyoto's mouth as the people around him, his comrades, watched him not because of how he had been screaming like someone had strangled the life out of him but because he was downright abusing his medication. It was giving him a heartburn but the abuser didn't seem to care.

Noticing the eyes, the young doctor waved their concerns off with a smile. He smiled because he knew they cared and it was because he knew that they cared that he had to smile. Truly, he was not okay, he never would be okay.

Hyoto picked up the cup of his favorite drink and sipped it before all of his nerves froze at the taste of coffee, sugar, and the hideous and life threatening...

"Who changed my drink to cafe au lait with two cubes of sugar?"

That day Hyoto did not leave the sofa he used as a bed.
