The Cayman Islands 𝑾𝑬𝑫𝑵𝑬𝑺𝑫𝑨𝒀, 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑬𝟏𝟒𝑻𝑯
Seven held on to either side of the canoe while Alexis childishly rocked back and forth. They were currently in the middle of the ocean on the small watercraft, and Seven found herself regretting this "spontaneous adventure," as Alexis called it. Seven was a great swimmer, but they were at a point in the ocean where the bottom was no longer visible. Thankfully the tide was rather calm, and there weren't any large waves.
"ALEXIS STOP!" Seven screamed bloody murder. She was sure that everybody back at shore could hear her.
Cackling, Alexis decided to stop mentally torturing her little sister.
"It's not funny bro. You're a bitch, seriously," Seven pouted.
"Girl, it was just a lil jokey joke. Calm down," Alexis rolled her eyes playfully, grabbing her paddle to begin rowing back to shore.
"A dangerous jokey joke. What if we tipped over and got eaten by sharks? Then what?"
"We weren't gonna tip over Seven, Jesus," Alexis shook her head, "you know we're more likely to die in a plane crash than by a shark attack? They're not as common as you think."
"And where'd you learn that? TikTok university?" Seven rolled her eyes."
Alexis laughed, "and did."
"Anyways, you have yet to tell me what you and Yosohn were doing sneaking off to the beach together yesterday."
"For the last time, we didn't sneak off. It wasn't like that at all. I asked him to accompany me and he did," Seven shrugged, "HOWEVER, we were talking and he basically admitted to being attracted to me, but he said he wouldn't pursue me because of his respect for Marquis."
Alexis let out a shrill of excitement, "see, I knew that there was some attraction there. It was all in his eyes. Damn, he just had to be Marquis's best friend."
"I know right. Maybe in another lifetime," Seven chuckled.
Sixteen year old Seven probably would have been heartbroken if Yosohn told her that he'd never pursue her. But adult Seven wasn't losing any sleep over it. Though she still found Yosohn to be incredibly attractive, she wasn't pressed to have more than a friendship with him. She was content with knowing that he found her just as attractive as she found him. But it was only a matter of time before that attraction transformed into something much more.
