CHAPTER 24

I've never been so busy all my life. Dati tatlong bagay lang kinaka-abalahan ko. Una, yung pag-manage ng mga restaurants ko. Pangalawa, ang career ko bilang isang television personality. At ang pangatlo, ang pag-gawa ng mga contents sa Youtube channel ko. All of this has never been a problem to me......not until a person named Vaughn Archibald Tuazon came into the picture. Pakiramdam ko ay overly stressed na ako dahil sa presensya niya. Siya kasi ang pang-apat na kinaka-abalahan ko ngayon, ang iwasan siya.

I hate the fact that my peaceful life suddenly became at shambles ever since she came back. Di ko na mabilang kung ilang beses ko siyang tinaboy, inaway o kung ano-ano pa. I mean, hello? Sino bang hindi ma-didistract kung ang taong nagpapabaliw sa puson mo noon ay nandito para guluhin ulit ang nanahimik mong puri? Kung pwede lang mag-evacuate sa ibang planeta ay ginawa ko na. I rather fall for an alien than to make a comeback with my ex. Yun ang motto ko ngayon; Date an alien in this world full of Vaughn Tuazon. 

At dahil ayokong lumabas ng condo, I am keeping myself busy by doing a vlog. Isang bagong recipe ulit ang inembento ko, and it's a recipe called Seafood Linguine. Italian dish ito na hinaluan ko ng panlasang pinoy. It took me almost three hours to nailed it. Buti na lang at natapos ko.

"So, this is it ladies and gentlemen. This is how you make Seafood Linguine. It's creamy, it's tasty and it's all good for everyone. I hope you learned something for today's vlog. This is chef Yen and it has been a pleasure cooking with you all. See you again next time, Bon Appetit!" kumaway ako sa harapan ng camera bago yun inoff.

Finally, tapos na rin. That was the longest freaking vlog I ever made so far. For sure matinding editing ang gagawin ko mamaya.

Niligpit ko ang kusina saka nagbihis ng panibagong damit.

I change my mind, aalis pala ako. I almost forgot kailangan ko palang i-resume ang taping ng Cooking pleasure with Chef Yen for next week's episode. It's kind of pressuring now dahil end of season na at magkakaroon ng big changes sa susunod na season. Nonetheless, I'm still excited and grateful. 

I wore a simple outfit dahil sa dressing room nako ng IBN mag-papalit ng formal na susuotin. I arrived at the network at exactly 2pm. I was greeted by a bunch of staff as I walked my way to Studio 5. Agad akong inayusan ng mga makeup artist pagdating ko.

I spent the whole afternoon doing pre-recording tapings. Good for 3 episodes yung ginawa namin. After the taping, pagod akong bumalik sa dressing room para ayusin aking sarili. I was removing my makeup off when Tommy came in.

"Hey." bati niya sakin.

"Hello." sagot ko habang nakaharap sa vanity mirror.

"I just drop by to say next week na yung final casting ng Teleserye na sinasabi ko sayo. What are your plans? Are you in?" 

Ibinababa ko ang hawak na wipes saka siya hinarap. "I'm genuinely flattered with the kind offer, Tom. Pero final na yung desisyon ko. Hindi ko siya tatanggapin. I'm not confident enough to star on a tv drama. It's just not my thing."

An understanding expression fleeted across his face. "Well, if that's your decision and I respect it."

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

"But good news. Your show will extend for another season." bawi niya. "Are you excited?"

"Definitely." mabilis kong tugon. "Sino ba yung makakasama ko? I heard the management is planning to cast someone."

"Yeah, it's Vaughn Tuazon."

Natigilan ako. "Ano!?" nanlaki pareho ang mga mata ko.

"Yup. The one and only. Why? What seems to be the problem?"
