Mal has bin ignoring my ass all damn day and ion give a flying fuck I'm still gone keep trying.

"You wanna know what I learned about New Orleans?" She looked at us.

"What?" Quan asked.

"The niggas here are annoying." She said knowing damn well she was talking about me.

"Don't do that." I told her.

She rolled her eyes and continued watching her tv.

"Girl you better shut ya ass up." Quan told her.

"Negro fuck you." She told him.

"And did." He said which made us laugh but caused her to mug him. "Sorry." He said.

"Hold up how's ya momma an' them?" Quan asked her.

"They good." She told him. "They took a trip to Hawaii to celebrate their anniversary, so that's where they at." She said.

"You need a New Orleans ass whooping." He said.

"Mommy!" Ermias yelled as he came down the stairs.

She gave him a kiss on the cheek then got up and headed into the kitchen. I got up and followed behind of her, more like limped.

"Mal." I called her.

"Get out." She told me.

"You're not supposed to be up Ben get out." She said.

"I'm not going anywhere until you talk to me."I told her.

"I guess you gone sit there then." She shrugged. "Ben I have nothing to say to you." She told me.

"I heard you last night Mal." I said and she hit the table and looked at me.

I got up and limped over to her, I rested my hands on her cheek and brushed my thumb against it.
