While the use of free images from the internet is perfectly okay and encouraged, how those images are used affects the quality of the cover. A cover that is simply a digital art photo from a place like pixabay used as the background with text applied over it isn't going to do as well as a cover that is clearly (and expertly) created.
The same goes for the blurb. It must be enticing. It must draw the reader in. Have a read through our next chapters to see how you can do this.
Each judge will use the following to critique every entry. The scores are averaged over the judges and then ranked. The top score wins the challenge. The highest scoring challenge winner wins the contest overall.
