𝔘𝔫𝔫𝔦𝔢 𝔰𝔱𝔬𝔭𝔰 ℭ𝔥𝔢𝔬𝔫𝔤-𝔰𝔞𝔫 before he goes forward. Once Dae-su sees the zombie, he tries to get rid of it with the help of Joon-Yeong. "I said stop that!" Cheong-san yells at Dae-su. He jumps to the other side and pushes the 2 boys away from the zombie and starts hitting Dae-su. This attracts the zombies. Others get rid of the zombie, and Su-hyeok and unnie hold Cheong-san. "Mom! Mom..." He falls crying. "let's go" Nam-ra pulls me. "Cheong-san, we have to go..." I say it to him. Su-hyeok and unnie encourage him. Su-hyeok and unnie hold Cheong-san and help him run, I hold Nam-ra as she is struggling to walk due to her pain.

We all climb up the mountain. We run towards the auditorium. We reach the basketball and volleyball court. "Run, let's go" Nam-ra mumbles. When the lighting strikes, we see more zombies. In the room. "shit..." I whisper to myself.

"Come here, everyone!" Hari tells us to go inside the storeroom. "Su-hyeok come!" I pull the zombie off him and I pull Su-hyeok with me and rush inside. I stand near the door, catching my breath. In front of me, Hari holding a girl, preventing her to move. We all stand there silent.

Dae-su goes near Cheong-san and apologises to him for trying to kill his mother. "ya, where is Ji-min?" I ask everyone, once I notice she is missing. "she ran away..." Hyo-Ryung stuttered. I keep my mouth shut, knowing what she means.

We all fell asleep. My head is on some sort of board and Su-hyeok sleeps right next to me.

I stir and open my eyes suddenly, feeling something just happened. Right in front of my eyes, Su-hyeok looks peaceful while sleeping. I can see a few small cuts on his face. I trace my hand on those cuts. I then stir and lay on my back and stare at the ceiling, will this end? Will I get out? Will unnie get out? What about Su-hyeok and others? How is dad right now?

Soon I hear everyone's sighs, indicating that they are waking up. Soon we all sit up in silence. Nam-ra stood in front of the window, "the smell is stronger." Dae-su then sniffs himself. "I can't really smell anything." "I think they are coming this way, the smell is stronger." "There is no use. We are trapped here for good."

I stand up from my place and search. "What are you searching for?" Su-hyeok questions. "I think there is some kind of food here. But not sure." I say while searching. "Please find it." Dae-su pleads. I keep on searching, and after some time, instead of finding food, I find a new packet of water bottles. I take the packet and keep it in the centre, "I couldn't find anything but at least water can do something." I say while tearing the plastic surrounding the bottles.

Once I tore the plastic, I one bottle to everyone and I take one for myself. Everyone sighs in satisfaction once they have drunk the water. I hear 'thank you' from everyone. I return the smile. I sit next to Hari, "Unnie, how were the preliminaries?" I ask her knowing that even she wanted to be on the national team "yes noona, you didn't fail, right?" Wu-jin asks. "No, I did really well." after hearing her answer, I hug her from the side. "I knew you would do it," I say while smiling brightly.

"You are her brother?" a new girl asks. "yea, I am" "She got a perfect score, so she made it to the nationals. I saw her." This made Wu-jin really happy. "Do mum and dad know?" "Bro, how could they know? Look around..." the new girl states. "she jumped out of the bus and ran to school to find you. Be good to her" she kinda scoffs. "and me too" she adds. "Who is she?" "She's my friend." The new girl chuckles and says, "We're freaking besties."

Hari then turns to me, "When are your tryouts, On-Ji?" "next week, but I don't think it will happen anymore." I look down at my fidgeting fingers. "You can try it out next year." the new girl says. I give a weak smile and tell her, "tryouts for national don't come that often, and even if it does, getting into tryouts isn't that easy." "mmhmm, you are the English president though..." she enquires further. "I was, No one knows what's gonna happen in the future. And being a president of a club and volleyball. There is no connection. And now I have to focus on academics once this is over and if I have no chance in volleyball. If I don't want to though..." I shrug, "you have to." I hear unnie say it to me. "unnie don't pretend that you do." I sass. I see Cheong-san chuckle beside her. "you punk." she mouths. I just smile at her.

Then suddenly, Dae-su stands in front of us, "what?" Wu-jin asks him. "I..." "you?" "I think you are the perfect girl..." he starts confessing. Then I remember what Su-hyeok told me. "what? You freak. What's wrong with you?"

"I watched you when you were shooting your arrows, I saw you train every morning. I went to every tournament and cheered for you. Caught myself yelling 'copper beauty' a few times" I let out a 'pft' when I heard him say 'copper beauty', Wu-jin covers Hari's ears. "I really liked you for many years. Now... I wanna be a man, not just a fan. I'm gonna die anyway, I just wanna say what I want first." he confessed.

"you are Dae-su, right? You call my brother 'brother-in-law'?" "yeah, so that means you knew. Brother-in-law, you told her?" "yeah I might have" Hari stretches her hand, Dae-su wipes his hand and helps her stand up. "must be nice to meet me." Dae-su blushes and says yes. "then you're okay with dying?" "yes" he then looks up at her, "What? Today?" She then punches him and kicks him. I let out a laugh. "good. I'm pissed off and needed to vent."

Wu-jin extends his palm, I give him a high five. Dae-su stands behind the racks, I try to stop her but "Unnie, stop it. His love is so pure that he even asked me to pair you guys." this sentence slipped out of my mouth. "On-Ji! You can't say that!" Dae-su says while avoiding the balls thrown by Hari. With this, she threw even more balls at him.

Once Hari settles down, Dae-su is still sitting on the other side. Then Su-hyeok checks on the ball baskets. "what are you doing?" Joon-Yeong stands up. "Can we move this? Do you think it is possible?" He looks at me. "yes we can, just remove the breaks." I say. "we can tie all the carts in a circle, and we can use them as a shield." he tells his plan.

The boys move the carriages. And we girls try to find something which can be used to tie it together. "We need strings of something to tie them together," Joon-Yeong says. "You can also use the volleyball net to tie or something." I suggest. "yes we can do that." I tell Su-hyeok that the nets are on the top shelf. While he gets that, I help others in moving the carriages.

The new girl and Joon-Yeong get into a fight, over which plan is better. Su-hyeok goes and stops them from getting physical. Even after this the new girl doesn't stop, Then Nam-ra pushes one of the carriages making a clash sound, drawing everyone's attention. "we'll vote on it." "you are?" "class prez." We all stand/sit opposite Nam-ra. "one, split up." No one raises their hand. "two, stay together." Everyone votes for it.

"Moving on, One, we make the outsider higher." I raise my hand. "6 votes." "2, we fold the lid and make a box." "4 votes."

"what the hell? I thought you were with us?" "I changed my mind."

"Option one received the majority of votes." "what about your vote? If you vote for option 2, it will be a tie" the new girl says. "option 1" "shit" "let's do it." We all get to work.
