Also just a random question. If you were to read a demon slayer fanfic ( or just an action fanfic in general ) which would you be more inclined to read? One with an oc being the mc or one with y/n being the mc? If you chose y/n, how much freedom would you want to have with them? Would you want to be able to almost completely control their appearance or would you want to leave some things to the author? Would you mind it if the author gave y/n attributes you wouldn't be able to control? For example, the author chose y/n to have black hair but you didn't want them to have black hair.

How would they react to finding out your previous significant other lost their life to a demon? 🤔

Giyu Tomioka

Giyu always wondered why you'd freak out whenever he had to go on a mission that would last more than a day. But, instead of asking, I see him just like pushing your weird behavior off as you being a worried girlfriend and going on with his day. Once you told him the truth however, he felt bad. He had no idea he was making you so worried and from now on, he'll try his best to keep the mission short so he can come back sooner.

Obanai Iguro

There's definitely a chance Obanai would question why you're being so clingy but if you didn't tell him the truth, he'd most likely learn about the incident from your brother, Sanemi. He wouldn't talk to you about it either, he'd just kinda keep quiet and let you build up the courage to tell him ( again ). Although, you'd probably find out that he knows something eventually 'cause he'll just apologize for worrying you and let you shower him in your overbearing care.

Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri would absolutely have no clue why you'd get so anxious whenever she had to go on a long mission but would never question you about it. Once you sit her down and tell her the reason behind your behavior, she'd probably cry too. She feels so bad that you had to go through that ( such a sad end to such a beautiful relationship at that! ) and promises with all her heart to be more careful from now on. She'll even take you out to eat after if her mission takes longer than a day.

Shinobu Kocho

Shinobu would have her sneaking suspicions but would never call you out on it ( If you wanted her to know, you would tell her ). She'd just let you dot on her until you finally work up your courage to tell her. When you do though, she's very understanding. She often does the same to Kanao due to the losses of her tsuguko's and Kanae.

She may not be able to promise she'll come back from every mission completely unscathed but she can promise she'll be more careful in her future mission to better ease your mind.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

Sanemi is definitely the type to call you out on your weird ( doting ) behavior but once you tell him, he feels like complete shit. I mean, you probably weren't ready to tell him that so he already feels bad for forcing the truth out of you ( and it's even worse when he learns that the only reason you were acting this way was due to losing someone you loved ). He'll apologize of course and'll just let you take care of him from now on. I mean, it's not like he completely hated having your full attention on him and only him.
