Riley's pov:

"Hello My sweet girl" Antonio stepped inside the room and came up from behind April leaning down to kiss her cheek but she pointed her knife at him making him back off

We're in the dining room eating breakfast

Xavier is holding my hand with one of his hands and eating with the other

Alessandro hasn't come out of his office since yesterday (Xavier's words) and Tyler is at Caleb's house

I sometimes forget Tyler is here from how much I don't hear his voice or see him around the house

"Who's yours Antonio De Luca? Care to say it one more time?" The knife she was happily pointing at him was taken out of her hand in an instant

Antonio boredly dropped the knife in her plate and pulled the chair beside her sitting down

"oh tesoro you think you can threaten me with a knife? You underestimate me so much" he leaned and said in her ear

She rolled her eyes and punched his chest with her elbow making him back off...again

"What's with the nice names? You would've been cursing the hell out of me in your whole book of different languages by now" She went back to eating her pancakes

"I searched on the internet how to make a girl forgive you, step one was be nice so here I am being nice" he grinned at her

"You and nice don't mix babe" she smiled tightly at him and stuffed a big piece of pancake in her mouth

I don't know which was it her face or his face that made me giggle but I did

I felt Xavier squeeze my hand and I looked at him to find him looking at me with adoration and amusement

He shook his head smiling, leaning down on the table to kiss my hand before going back to sipping on his coffee

His hand still holding mine

He's been extra affectionate since yesterday and I'm loving every second of it

I looked back at Antonio and April

"If I'm being nice you should be too!"

She innocently looked up at him "whatever you say my lovely, sweet, adorable, handsome, cute-" he cut her off

"I take it back! Nice doesn't suit you" he muttered the last sentence

"Fuck you" she smiled at him then got up heading for the door

Him trailing behind her

I still can't believe he's real

He's perfect no like really perfect you can't find a flaw on this man's face or body

But Xavier is way too handsome too

Antonio isn't my type

He just really looks like a guy you'd imagine while reading a book

He's unreal

Xavier cleared his throat making me snap my neck towards him

"So...why didn't you tell me about Austin's texts?" Oh...okay

"Um I didn't want to trouble you with it, it was nothing anyway" I shrugged carelessly

Yeah...nothing that haunts me in my nightmare

"You know that all I wanna do is protect you right? I want you to be able to tell me anything, it's not nothing if you feel uneasy about it ok?" How's he so...mature and understanding
