"I'm so confused," Diego said as we all stood around the pool table.

"Shocking," Allison rolled her eyes.

I sighed and rubbed my face. Everything was just fine.

"Well, someone killed our mothers, so we shouldn't exist," Viktor said, "But clearly, we do exist, and the universe can't handle it, which is a problem."

"Big problem," Five said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Hi-yah!" Stanley yelled as he kicked the air.

"Stanley!" Diego yelled, "Now is not the time to be doing karate, okay?"

"Mom said I need to practice!" Stanley yelled back.

"Yeah, well, she's not wrong. You're very bad," Diego said as he flipped his knife.

I lightly shoved him, "That's mean."

"But it's true. Someone had to tell him," Diego said.

"Well, I saved your pathetic ass!" Stanley yelled at him.

"Okay, hold on," Allison said, "Five, so we caused a paradox. What does that mean?"

"It's hard to say. It's all been theoretical... until now, but things have started to disappear," Five said.

"What things?" Viktor asked.

"Right now? Uh, lobsters," Five said.

Klaus sat up on the ground, "and a shit ton of cows!"

I nodded.

Five sighed, "But I have a feeling this is just the beginning."

Allison scoffed, "A feeling? Aren't you retired?"

"I want nothing more," Five said.

Allison walked over and stood in front of him, "You know, you can't keep dragging us through hell because you have an itch only an apocalypse can scratch and then expect us to deal with the fallout. You're not the boss!"

"Fine. I'm the messenger. And I'm telling you something terrible is coming," Five said.

"Then let's go attack the sparrows, get the briefcase, and go home," She said.

"This is our home, Allison. Accept it," Five said.

Stanley knocked something down as he attempted his "karate" practice.

"That's it! I'm telling your mom," Diego yelled at him.

"Ooh!" Stanley said sarcastically.

"Wait. Where's Lila?" Five asked.

"Shower. I told her she could stay with us," Stanley said.

"Wait, when did Lila get back?" Viktor asked.

Five set his coffee down and turned around.

"Five, where are you going?" Diego asked.

"To talk to somebody who only has half her head up her ass," Five said as he walked toward the stairs.

"Don't leave, Five!" Klaus called out.

"No, Klaus. I'm leaving," Five said.

"Five, wait!" I called out.

"Leaving!"

I sighed as I sat down on one of the chairs.

"I mean, he has a good track record with this stuff," Viktor said, "I feel like we should listen to him."

We should since this will be our third end of the world. But why the hell does he have to talk to Lila? I've helped him through both apocalypses.

"Sure. Hey, quick question," Klaus said as he stood up.
