Your eyes were laid at Screeches useless body. You couldnt belive what you were seeing. Screech is dead? Here? Not now.. i will save him. You think. You rushed over to his body, and he was concious. His left upper stomach was pierced with shrapnel and a couple splinters. You lifted up his shirt, and examined the wound. It was as if a bullet was pierced through the inky body. You were a first aid trained, so you immediately went to work. "Y/n... get out of here.." he then said faintly. "Not until i help you. No discussion, but dont talk. I dont know how much blood youve lost already." He gave up on talking, and you continued. You tried lifting half the bookshelf off his injury, and asked. "I dont think you would have any anesthetics, do you?" He shook his head, taking you to the worst. You then realise the wound was badly infected, as if it were there for a week. You couldnt figure out how on earth it would have been infected in such a short time. Wait.. Earth? How are you supposed to know if your on earth?! Wherever you were, you wanted to escape. Fast.
The wound looked very deep, and you wanted to prepare Screech for what will hurt. "Screech? Do you have a high pain tolerance?" You ask, hoping it will save him. "Well.. not really.. no.." he answered, which set you low. "Take this. Bite it." You handed him a hard book, and you were just terryfied. Your panic attack started to kick in slowly, but you fought the urge to stop. You had to help him. He was one of your first allies wasnt he?
He took the book and bit it hard. "Just be prepared, ill enter the wound." You said, hoping he will hear you. You slowly started taking the pieces of shrapnel and glass out of the wound, and took a look at Screech. Tears were flowing down his little cheecks, his eyes were clenched shut and foddy when he opened them. You wanted to quickly finish this so he doesnt feel so much pain. Guilt rised above you, like a unimaginably giant tsunami. The pain in his eyes were the one thing to prove that you were the problem. As you took the pieces of glass and other out, you started to realize how big the pieces were by now. One of the pieces was deep inside, and you buried your wrist in. Your hand was knuckles deep as you grabbed the shrapnel and wriggled it out. Was this going to be an ebdless loop of injuries? Me, Seek, and now Screech? This was wierdly common to you. The smell of blood felt familiar and normal to you, as if it followed you everywhere. You then removed the last piece, and looked at Screech again. He was whining and whimpering at the pain. It wasnt loud enough to wake Seek up though. Wait Seek?? What about him?!? What if he finds out what you were doing?? Was this a good decision or a bad sin? You had no thoughts but Screech now. You wanted to cry. Was this your fault..?
