This year I'm taking a Multimedia class, which is basically an art class with a more technological aspect than plain drawing and painting on a canvas, and our assignment this week was a two parter.

Part one was to take a written piece of work and turn it into vector art using an image best suited to the written peice you chose. I chose the poem Voodoo Girl by Tim Burton, and it goes like this

Her skin is white cloth,
and she's all sewn apart
and she has many colored pins
sticking out of her heart.

She has a beautiful set
of hypno-disk eyes,
the ones that she uses
to hypnotize guys.

She has many different zombies
who are deeply in her trance.
She even has a zombie
who was originally from France.

But she knows she has a curse on her,
a curse she cannot win.
For if someone gets
too close to her,

the pins stick farther in.

So I turned that into this

The second part also contained vector art

The second part also contained vector art. This time in a logo I created, I was going to do a larger more in detail logo for a difrent class I am taking anyway. So I thought why not combine the two.

So at first the plan was to go with a girl in some sort of dance pose with eagle wings behind her, I was going back and forth on weather or not the wings should be geometrical, but then I figured out that I didn't have as much time to finish as I thought I did so I made a logo for a magic school or brand I don't really know. Anyway here it is.

Yeah for a time crunch I think I did pretty well with both of these
