Third Person Pov

There are a million ways to propose to the love of your life, from the classic rose petals spelling out "will you marry me?" to popping the question in a hot air balloon.

But finding one that works best for you and your partner may take a bit of searching.

That's what Luka Couffaine was attempting to do.

Figuring out the most perfect way to exclaim his love for her, to show her how much she means to him.

After days of planning with Adrien and the rest of the gang, he was able to come up with a proposal that was sure to knock the air out of (Y/N)'s lungs.

Luka fiddles with the strings on his outfit, a far, longing look plastered on his face. He fixed the collar of his shirt, then grabbed his guitar.

He finely tuned the strings, hoping that keeping himself occupied would help with the jitters.

A part of him wanted to change the whole entire plan, but the bigger part of him wanted to declare his love for her to the whole world.

And so, with a deep sigh, he waits for the announcer to introduce him.

His head shot up when he heard faint footsteps inching closer and closer to his direction.

Whirling around, Luka's gaze met with familiar (E/C) ones, and his eyes immediately softened at the endearing sight.

There stood the love of his life, dressed immaculately in her floral mini dress. Tonight was a little cold, so Luka insisted that she wore a shawl.

Luckily, (Y/N) didn't put up a fight, thinking that the shawl added a little more flare to her outfit.

She smiles up at him, the moonlight complimenting her doe eyes quite nicely.

Standing up her tippy toes, she leans in to press a chaste kiss to Luka's lips, catching the musician off guard.

His eyes grew wide as he looks down at his beloved, who had blush tinting her cheeks. "What was that for?" Luka then asked.

"Can't I kiss my boyfriend good luck?" She teased, her eyes glimmering with playfulness as she huddles close to hug him.

Luka didn't hesitate, not even for a second, and immediately hugged her back.

Boyfriend. That's going to change tonight.

Pressing a soft kiss on the side of her head, he sighed and engulfed himself in her intoxicating scent.

"You can kiss me anytime you want, sweetheart." He murmurs.

Their tender moment was cut short when they heard a small knock.

The door opens and there stood Lukas manager, who was telling him that he only has ten minutes left before the show begins.

After the manager left, Luka heaves out a small groan. Now that they were alone, he was thinking whether or not he should do it right now.

Luka didn't want to waste a second longer, as he wanted the rest of their lives to start as soon as possible.

Before he said something that he would regret later on, Adriens voice cooes from the depths of his mind.

'You wanted to declare your love for her to the whole world, right? Then do that! Show everybody that (Y/N) (L/N) belongs to you, and you only!'

That gave him the patience to wait a little longer, he just has to make sure that (Y/N) never leaves his sight during the concert.

"I have to go now." He sighs, diving in to press a small peck on her lips. (Y/N) reaches out to cup Lukas face in the palm of her hands, her eyes trailing at his features.

Those teal eyes that shone brightly, yet they still hold that warm, comforting aura to them.

Luka decided to grow his hair a little longer, but that didn't bother (Y/N). In fact, she adores the new look.

He looks like some type of Greek god, a hot Greek god.

"Alright, Babe. Have fun, and stay safe." She nods at him, a warm smile plastered on her lips.

(Y/N) was about to ask Luka if it was alright for her to hang out in his room for a bit, seeing as there were alot of people outside and she wasn't in the mood to endure the loud noises.

Luka immediately interjected and then said; "After this concert, I have something important I want to ask you. Can you please wait for me at the backstage, so you can hear what I have to say. Please?"

The tone of Lukas voice had (Y/N) nodding her head profusely in a heartbeat.

Her mind spiraled in an instant, thinking of all the possible conversations they could have after his concert.

But instead of her asking, she just waved a hand at him and giggled.

"Okay okay, I'll wait for you there." She waves a hand at him dismissively. "Good luck out there, Hun."

Luka fixes his guitar strap and adjusts it to his liking. Before leaving, he plants another kiss just above her forehead.

"I'll see you later, sweetheart! I love you."

(Y/N) didn't hesitate to repeat the words back at him. "I love you, too." She heaves out, the irises in her eyes practically shaped into hearts as she watches Luka's silhouette slowly disappear.

Oh, how much she loves that blueberry dork.

Luka wasn't the only one stressing about the topic of marriage and proposals. (Y/N) wouldn't admit it out loud, but she may or may not have thought about marriage before.

Maybe once or twice, or a dozen times now.

They've been together for years now, and they are already of legal age.

And (Y/N) was sure that she and Luka were on the same page, she was sure he wanted the same thing that she wanted.

To be together forever.

She knows Luka has good intentions, genuine intentions. And so, she has been patiently waiting for him to ask her that very question.

But she isn't as patient as he is. If (Y/N) was to wait another whole year for him to propose to her, she might go ape mode.

All good things comes to those who wait.

She bit her bottom lip, hoping that the night would finally end so she could come home and snuggle in bed with Luka.

Oblivious to all the plans that were in motion tonight.
