Would you hate us if you knew? Part One: The Past (A SERVAMP FANFICTION)

Chapter 24.

They knew of the dangers of their decision but they could only follow their heart. They decided to choose the first option.

And thus the game of hide and seek began.

After half an hour on beginning to search for the Servamps.

"This isn't funny💢! This is getting damn annoying!" Licht screamed in frustration, the group had stopped to take a break on a rooftop, taking his frustrations out on the air.

"I know. Tell me about it." Lucky sighed in annoyance from where he sat on the railing.

"We have been searching for half an hour. Can't they stay in one place and stay there? Why do they constantly move around? It's making our job so much harder." Niccolo said as he paced around in circles.

Licht crossed his arms. "Obviously not. Besides making our job harder is their specialty."

"Well, we should get a move on and find them before the enemy does. We can do this!" Iduna said sitting cross-legged on the ground.

"C'mon guys! We know Tokyo better than anyone else. So let's brainstorm!" Lucky said trying to be positive.

"They know we are not in town, so cross our houses off the list." Licht started.

"And we have searched every alleyway, rooftop, road, abandoned buildings in the area and no sign of them. And with their animal forms, they are the masters at hide and seek, almost making it impossible to find them." Niccolo added. 

"Have we checked C3?" Lucky suggested. 

Licht looked confused. "But I thought that would be the last place they would go? And Shuhei would call of they see them."

Iduna sighed. "Not if they were in animal form. If they are in animal form they can hide very easily."

Niccolo stopped pacing. "If I were looking for answers, C3 is the place I would go. C3 would be able to track us."

Suddenly Licht walked to the edge of the roof and looked down into the alley way below. "Be quiet!"

Lucky and Niccolo both looked over. "Why?" They said in unison.

"Remember I'm an angel." Licht reminded them as he did his pose. Making Lucky narrow his eyes annoyed, Niccolo raise an eyebrow, while Iduna just ignores it waiting for him to continue.

"I can sense that demon anywhere. And he is coming this way with other demons." Licht explained as he lowered his voice and moved away from the edge of the roof. Next he walked to the left side of the roof that over looked an alley way that was well hidden from anyone who was standing on the roof.

But of course they knew that. They knew the city like the back of their hands.

Iduna, Niccolo and Lucky followed their friend, while making sure thier masks were secured before peering over the side of the roof after they had heard a noise from below. Then they heard the voices.

"Seriously? You just had to stop and eat. Is eating all you care about?"

"He's the servamp of Gluttony. What do you expect from someone who can turn into a pig and who is also a pig."

"Who are you calling a pig? And I'm sorry I was hungry. I didn't know that we would get shot at. If I had known that I wouldn't have gone into the Cafe."

"Yeah better question who was shooting at us?"

"Lust is right. Back on topic. Who were they and why were they shooting at us?"

"Don't look at me. I haven't done anything. Well not this week."

"What is that supposed to mean Melancholy?"
