"Tell them." Mabel said pulling on Dippers arm.
"No." Dipper said again.
"Tell them."
"No."
"Tell theeeem."
"I said no Mabel, I don't trust them. I mean, sure their here with us in Gravity falls, but if they know that this Journal is real then I don't doubt their going to tell Stan." Dipper said.
"But Dipper, we have to tell them." Mabel said.
"Why are you so insistent on telling them today?" Dipper asked.
"Dipper please, you've seen how they've gotten hurt! We gotta tell them." Mabel said as Dipper walked away from her again.
"Mabel, I said no." Dipper responded.
"Please please please Dipper!" Mabel said crawling towards him on her knees, her hands held together Infront of her.
Dipper just groaned and turned to her.
"If I tell her will you stop doing this?" Dipper asked gesturing to Mabel who had the biggest puppy eyes she could make infront of him.
"Yes!"
"Augh...." Dipper took in deep breath, "Fine." Dipper finally sighed out.
Mabel jumped to her feet and started cheering, running out the room to retrieve her sibling.
Dipper just sat on his bed and started looking through the Journal again specifically the chapter about something called the blind eye, he didn't trust the figure, far from it actually, but he was curious as well.
But it did confirm his and Duncan's suspicion, the figure knew something about the author, they talked like they had read the journal a hundred times.
But they wouldn't have been able to do that unless they either knew the author, or they did something to the author.
Dipper was hoping it was that they knew the author, but he couldn't be sure. Were they the ones that hid the Journal then?
But what you said caught his attention, that Duncan was lying to him. But Duncan had told him about how they would say whatever it took to fool and deceive.
But that was also the first time the figure had so willingly confronted Duncan, it seemed as if they had gained a new sort of resolve.
In a way, that scares him. The figure used to run away just from being seen, and now they came to fight Duncan.
Mabel opened the door, shoved me inside and then closed it, the whole time she was just smiling as if she had just achieved her greatest goal.
Dipper cleared his throat gaining my attention, "So, I'm sure you've seen that Gravity falls is weird," Dipper started and closed the Journal.
______________________________________
Later that day, after Dipper had finally revealed the Journal to me and that Gravity falls wasn't exactly safe, cause I definitely didn't know that before.
Dipper had set up his little area by the couch to prepare to watch ghost harassers, Mabel had at this point invited Grenda and Candy over.
I was upstairs looking out the window of me and my siblings bedroom, just day dreaming of the different ways I could use my powers.
The guilt and self pity wasn't fully gone, in fact it still lingered in the back of my mind, after all I can't get over my realisations so easily, but in time I will.
