ailee laid awake in bed for another 45 minutes, the nerves and stress about the step they were about to take in their relationship looming on her as they kept her fighting for sleep. she tossed and turned, realising she wasn't going to be able to sleep any time soon she got up and walked around her apartment.

george had moved his items into dream and sapnap's apartment and was staying with them, and ailee's home felt empty and lonely again. she trudged over to her living room, seeing steak curled up asleep on the couch. she smiled at the sight and lightly petted him, his purring ricocheting through the echoey room.

ailee hated how empty her house felt. sure there was furniture, and decorations, and other homely touches but it felt lonely. she slid her feet back to her kitchen, sitting at her counter as she sees an unopened letter she had brought in earlier and forgotten about. she grabs the letter and tears it open, taking out the note inside to see another bill. she sighs disappointedly, wanting something exciting. she didn't know what she was necessarily waiting for, she just felt bored.

the jitters for the flight was growing by the second, unable to sit still as her leg slightly bounced on the footrest of the stool she was sitting on. she looks over at steak, watching his chest subtly rise and fall with each breath as he sleeps, feeling her own sleepiness starting to take a hold, she walks to her couch and lays down next to the cat.

her consciousness slowly faded out as she slept comfortably in her living room.
