It feels so good to be back home. After the long drive back i unpacked everything and took a long shower which was very relaxing to say the least.
Now i'm out back with Payton as Sonny runs around happily chasing his tail.
"Do you mind it my friends come over tomorrow?" I asked Payton who only shook her head. "Can i ask you for your opinion?"
"Mhm what happened?"
"In Seattle Vinnie told me he wants to fix our relationship with me." She gasped.
"That's cute, what did you tell him?"
"That i'm not ready." Her expression changed, "I don't know i should've just asked to think about it"
"Do you want to be back with him?" She asked and i nodded, "Then i say go for it. It's not gonna be easy at first but you guys will get through it"
"But my problem is i feel like we need time to be apart. Pay, my happiness was heavily dependent on him while we were together. I want to be happy on my own, i wanna learn to be happy with myself" I ranted
"So what do you want Angel" She asked me slightly grinning. "What do you want from him?"
"Him" I stated, "I want him to fight for me, I like his attention"
I know it sounds bad but i like the attention of him fighting for me. I don't know it's weird
"Obviously you like his attention" She spoke sarcastically. "You love him just talk to him about this" I sighed
She's right
Instead of keeping me company and giving me more advice, Payton went and started playing with Sonny so i went on my phone.
It wasn't surprising that the first thing i see when i grab it was a message from the person who we were just talking about.
And of course i never got around to changing his contact name...

I was about to ask how he knew what i was doing but then i heard some noise from the yard where Payton and Sonny are so i looked up. This man was standing there with flowers in his hand next to Payton and looking down at my dog who was wagging his tail.
I sighed and stood up going straight to Sonny. "So much for being a good guard dog" I jokingly rolled my eyes but pet him.
"I'm gonna go give him water" She began walking away, "Come on Sonny" And he followed her.
"Hi Angel" Vinnie spoke, smiling at me.
"How do you know this address" I got right to the point.
"Oh just something i remembered" I rolled my eyes. "Here these are for you" He extended his arm out to me with the flowers.
I got them and started walking away, heading inside to put them in water. "Thank you" I spoke low. We got inside and went to the kitchen where i tried grabbing a vase but he got it for me instead.
"You're short" I looked at him and he was smiling. "Are these from last time?" He pointed at the other flowers i have on the island.
"You mean the flowers you sent to my parents house that they had shipped here? Yes those are them" I admit. I saw his eyes light up.
"That's so cute that you kept them" I rolled my eyes. "Nice house" I hummed.
"Mhm would've been ours but you know... we broke up." He smirked and i gave him an unamused expression. "Don't make those faces at me Vinnie"
Right when he was going to answer Sonny came running to me and Payton followed him but stopped on the other side of the island.
"Hi baby" I greeted my puppy, "So cute Sonny"
"Sonny like Carisi?" Vinnie asked confused but smiling.
I sighed but nodded, "I didn't name him" I stated
"You also didn't change his name" I rolled my eyes.
He's right though i could've changed it.
"I was trying to get him food but the container is empty" Payton spoke.
"Really?" She nodded, "Like nothing? At all?" I don't feel like going to a store but i'm not letting my dog starve so i am going. "Okay well i'm gonna go to petco" I went to my room to put shoes on and grab my wallet and keys then went back.
"I'll take you" Vinnie offered, "I need stuff for Hera" I nodded
"Payton are you going?" She shook her head, "Why"
"I need to shower" I just nodded and walked out with Vinnie following me.
"Where's your car?" He asked and i'm sure he looked around.
"The BMW?" He nodded, "The garage, my dad brought it while i was in Seattle with you but it was at my parents house until then"
"Let's use take it right now" I looked at him with an eyebrow raised, "You didn't use it in over a month i need to check if it's good Angel" I threw the keys at him and opened the garage for us to go in.
"Take the car out so i can close this" He listened and took it out onto the driveway while i closed the garage door. He got off the car when he saw me approach and opened the passenger door for me. "Thank you" He hummed before closing it and going back to the drivers seat.
"Where's petco?"

"Vinnie" I called for his attention so he stopped walking and looked at me.
"Yes Angel?" I smiled nervously, "What's up"
"I- I don't know if i should get Sonny a toy" I backed out of telling him. He chuckled but nodded. "Where do you live? Thomas told me you moved out."
"I moved here... to be closer to you." Aw "In an apartment eight minutes away from you"
"You moved here, further from LA? For me?" He nodded, "Why if i hadn't talked to you?"
"I don't care about LA." He stated, "I care about you and i'd rather fix things or at least try and be here near you than to be there without you. And i want to make sure you're safe my love you're here alone"
That nickname... i love it so much... i miss hearing it. So hearing it right now just made me get butterflies.
"Can i see where you live?" I asked, changing the subject. "You've already been to my house" Vinnie nodded.
