Here again are the tears
that once dried up with gentle smiles
heartaches that then vanished
now peeking back like at the start.
lost soul that was once found
now again is missing, broken into pieces
like the old dreams she'd stopped chasing.
Tried to write a new story
hoping to make a new ending
but as the first chapter flows
she's got to feel the same feeling.
To where it'll go her tired heart can tell
just like the old story the same they spell
it will soon just end up like the old rotten spiel
to heartaches and pains, once again she fell.
