Part 128~ fresh start

(A couple weeks later)

Today is Tobio's first day with his new team.

He met up with the coach, Mr Yoshida, and was introduced to the captain, and co-casting of the team.

They all seemed very sweet, and definitely made his nerves lessen.

He got ready earlier this morning, and left Shoyo a little note to wake up to.

When he arrived at the gym, he parked his car and got out, walking up to the entrance.

He took a deep breath, throwing his bag over his shoulder and walking inside.

He walked down the hall, and opened the gym doors.

"HEY HEY HEY"

He turned, and saw Bokuto running up to him.

"Oh shit, your the new recruit?!" He turned his head to the other side and saw Atsumu walking up to him, Sakusa following behind, rolling his eyes and pulling him back.

"Sorry about these bozos. It's good to have you on the team" Sakusa said, pulling them both back by their shirts collars.

"Oh- thanks" Tobio bowed, coming back up and giving a soft smile.

Sakusa just nodded, then motioned for him to follow to where everyone else was.

Coach spotted them and called Tobio over. "Everyone listen up, this is Tobio Kageyama. Our newest team member" Yoshida smiled, looking over at Tobio who just bowed and thanked them.

"Hey I've seen you before. Your setting skills are amazing, I'm a big fan!" One of the younger team members said, bouncing up and down, oddly reminding him of Noya.

"I'm Kyoto" he said, holding his hand out for him to shake, which Tobio took and just gave a small smile.

"Okay, I want everyone to start a practice game. Please show him our basic drills, and help him out if he needs. Work together" Yoshida clapped his hands and had everyone begin.

After they finished, coach made them do another game. This time to test out what formation would work best, and what pairs were better.

After a couple hours passed, they finished up the day and were able to go home.

"Good job today everyone, now go home, get some rest and I'll see you again tomorrow!" Yoshida stated, and let everyone go.

Tobio gathered his things, and stood up, taking a look around the huge gymnasium again.

"Feels nice, right"

He heard a slight chuckle coming from beside him, making him turn his head. Seeing Bokuto, Sakusa, and Atsumu all next to him again.

"Yea, it's weird though" Tobio admitted, and just shrugged.

"I get it. I think we all felt like that to be honest" Atsumu said, grabbing Sakusa's hand and turning.
"We're gonna go into town for a bit, wanna come?" He asked.

Tobio smiled but shook his head, "I appreciate the invite, but I've gotta get home to Sho and the kids"

"Yea of course, how are they anyways?" Atsumu said as they all began to walk out of the building.
