Milim's declaration of war had left both Carrion and F/N bewildered. However, Carrion acted swiftly and ordered the Beastketeers to begin evacuating everyone in the direction of the Jura Forest. F/N, at a loss of what was about to happen, started to resolve himself to stay and deal with Milim. As each day grew to pass, Carrion tried to convince him to leave with his people to ensure their safety, but F/N wouldn't move.

"We're friends now," He said, arms crossed as they stared out from the battlements of the castle on the final day. "Besides, I need to understand what's gotten into Milim."

"Phobio told me. You're bothered that she ignored you," Carrion stated, causing F/N to flinch.

"What? Why would he even say that? Because I..." F/N turned away, unable to deny the truth. "I just don't want her doing this, declaring war so casually."

"Hm," Carrion left it at that, believing still that he was bothered with more than that. Seeing Milim coming in from the distance, he let the matter be and addressed the Demon Lord. "Milim, to think you would break the concord without consulting the Walpurgis. I thought you were subtler than that."

"Why?" F/N jumped into the air, facing Milim down. "If you're really declaring war, then you're also declaring war with Tempest." Milim didn't say a word. "Say something."

"I don't think words will get through," Carrion appeared behind her with his halberd and began swinging down on Milim, but all attacks were in vain as he soon realized her barrier was causing them to slip.

"Milim," F/N said as he grabbed her arm, "Don't make me-"

Without hesitation, Milim punched him with her free arm, sending him flying back and down through several homes. In the distance, he could hear Carrion ask if she was being controlled, but she wouldn't answer. Jumping back in, F/N watched Carrion transform using [Royal Beast]. Fur covered his body which grew in size alongside his hair. Milim remained still when he used [Beast Roar] with all his power, causing an explosion on impact. Milim was left unscathed and used the fact that Carrion had used most of his strength to slash him with her sword.

Milim, now dressed in black armor, with dragon wings, a long pink horn, and longer, wild hair, finally spoke, "It's been a while since my hand went numb."

Strong emotions began welling up inside F/N as he moved in to cover for Carrion until his power returned. With the numb hand, Milim deflected all of his attacks, causing the emotions inside him to run higher. Milim grabbed him by the leg and once again threw him to the side. Finally, as he hit the ground, she spoke in his direction, cutting him deeply.

"You're too fragile."

Standing back up, for the first time since he reincarnated, F/N's blood boiled as his body burned up. For days F/N worried about Milim and he waited hoping he could talk to her. The cold rejection. The thought that he would have to fight seriously, the worry that he might hurt her. Now gone. All of the emotions he felt at that moment, caused him to shout in response.

"FRAGILE?! That's all you have to say to me?!"

Carrion, seeing the expression on F/N's face, grew fearful. He watched as F/N, with a murderous cry, unleashed his power in full force for the first time. The destruction of the surrounding buildings went for miles as they were torn apart by the sudden force. F/N, his eyes sharpened and narrowed onto Milim, knew what he finally wanted. Milim's recognition. And if that meant beating her, then he would.

Milim could feel F/N's intent as he moved in with more speed than the Beast King could follow. Throwing magic at her as wildly as he moved in, causing explosions midair. Milim had to begin deflecting as his attacks had suddenly grown stronger and more unpredictable. The day had started clear and was now growing darker as [Deluge of Despair] was unleashed alongside [Lover's Embrace] and [Imaginary Friends] to mentally attack Milim. Giving him enough moments to strike.
