"Oh my god. Who let you go out looking like that?" Tessa LaRusso questioned as she held Robby's driver's license, Sam hovering over her shoulder so she could look at it.
Tessa had made it to the mall, finding the three other Miyagi-Dos in the cafeteria. Robby had been sat across from her on the 4-person table, Sam on her left, Demetri would be on her right, but the boy was still getting his food that he ordered.
"Oh-ho-ho. Sweet man bun." Sam sarcastically spoke. Robby laughed as he looked at Tessa, watching as her eyes trailed up to him from the photo, a smile on her face.
"I told you two it was a horrible picture." Robby laughed as he spoke.
"Wait a second, you took this picture when I knew you. We met back in October and you're telling me you thought this looked good. Like you did your hair, looked in the mirror and said, 'this was the one.' Why would you do that to yourself?" Tessa continued to laugh as she looked at the boy in front of her and the boy in the picture.
"Yeah, well, I'm stuck with it for five years, so no biggie, right?" Robby rested his head on his hand, raising his eyebrows slightly as he spoke. Sam snatched the photo from Tessa's hand, looking at it inspectably before chuckling.
"Wait. 'Robert Swayze Keene'?" Sam questioned as she broke out into a smile. Robby threw his head back in laughter. Tessa watched as Sam and Robby spoke, her smile slowly fading.
"Wait, Sam you didn't know his middle name was Swayze?" Tessa questioned as she thought back to the he told her.
The two teens sat on Tessa LaRusso's bed, sitting in complete silence. It was the few days after the beach club, Tessa previously crying on the boy's shoulder.
"My middle name is Swayze." Robby blurted out of the blue, hopping it would get some type of reaction. The girl paused, looked back at Robby as she stared at him directedly in the eye.
"I'm sorry, what?" She started to laugh at how random his comment was, immediately bringing a smile to Robby's face from hearing the girl laugh.
"My middle name is Swayze." He spoke through a chuckle.
"You're kidding, right?" Both continued to laugh, both from the randomness of the conversation and the fact that his middle name was Swazey.
"No, I didn't." Sam spoke as she shook her head, looking over at Tessa.
"My mom was a huge fan of Patrick Swayze. He was an actor in the '80s." Robby explained softly.
"Yeah, like we haven't seen dirty dancing, like, a million times." Tessa jokingly rolled her eyes.
"My mom made me watch it all the time." Robby spoke, moving his hands slightly.
"She made you, huh?" Tessa chuckled as she shoved a fry into her mouth, raising her eyebrows slightly in questioning.
