Your POV:
For the first time in over a year, we were able to feel the real world. Scranton's Reality Anchors in our weapons were working normally, which meant we have finally left that cursed place. Everyone was happy except me and Young-Jae, as we knew what had to be done.

Slowly everyone else realized it too, and unwillingly our squad formed a defensive formation, while SCPs did the same in the other part of the room. Our alliance was supposed to last only until we leave the Backrooms, and due to Foundation's policy, it couldn't last here. We prepared ourselves for the fight, while Cross said he was going to explore our world a little bit.

For over a minute, we have been standing in our positions and nobody dared to perform the first shot, while SCPs were waiting for our move. It had to be done, and it didn't matter how good our friendship with them was, in here it was illegal and nothing would change that. We didn't want to rebel against these rules, and somebody had to do the first move. Unwillingly, I slowly aimed my weapon at 682's head, activated the Reality Anchor, and prepared to press the
trigger...

- Hey uhh... was your universe always this destroyed? - Cross said after teleporting behind us.

- W-What do you mean...? - Our commander spoke with fear, while everyone's faces went completely pale.

- Follow me. - He said and brought us outside.

What we saw completely terrified us. Everything around us was completely annihilated. Forests were burned down, mountains melted, the air itself was burning our lungs, and 239 had to use a lot of her power in order to make it possible to breathe normally. O5-9 pulled out a small device, which could be used to measure reality, and the output
wasn't even below the normal value, it was negative.

The entire reality was broken, and this wasn't a regular apocalypse like a supervolcano eruption or meteorite impact. Somebody, or something, completely shattered this world and made it unhabitable. Cross tried extremely hard to somehow fix it, but even with his and 239's combined powers, they were barely able to fix a small area around us.

- Who... - 035 tried to say something, but couldn't connect his words to make a sentence.

- How... And why? - 106 spoke completely terrified.

- How much did we miss while we were in there? - 682 asked and quickly got his answer.

- Oh you missed the whole fun 682... - A shadow behind us spoke and made Josie, SCP-529 hiss at it.

- Oh, Scarlet. How have you been, you edgelord? - Cross said after turning around, while the shadow took a physical form.

- Hello Cross, what a coincidence to see you in here... - Scarlet King responded with a smile.

- You guys know each other?!

- Of course we do 682. A long time ago, the Edgelord and I had a legendary fight between us, which lasted for over a week.

- And sadly that time I was defeated and gained some respect for Cross. - Scarlet King said while looking at Cross. - This time, however, I would be easily able to defeat him.

- Yeah, yeah. Sure. That's in theory. The contract will still last for the better end of 400ish years.

- Unfortunately I am aware of that. However, it doesn't matter right now. You wanted to get an answer, and you will receive it. I have obliterated this universe, because you... - He pointed at 053, 096, 239, 682 and 999. - Failed to do it for me. You were supposed to destroy the entire humanity, but instead, you took a trip into my Backrooms dimension.

- So you are the one who created that place?! - 239 yelled at him.

- Of course. - He responded with a big smile. - This place was supposed to make humans struggle for their lives. And everything was going perfectly until you opened a portal into the Backrooms. Even though I made this world delete the abilities of anyone who enters it, somehow, most of you managed to get them back. Not only that, some of you never lost them at all. You destroyed the balance of power in the Backrooms and annihilated a few of my favorite creations...

- Like Th3 Sh4dy Gr4y for example? - 682 spoke with laughter.

- Especially Th3 Sh4dy Gr4y! You deleted my favorite level, just because somehow you didn't lose hope in there.

- Oh shut up dad, it was either this level or my life, I think it was obvious I would survive this.

- Honestly, I wasn't sure if you would adapt to Th3 3nd, but I wasn't disappointed when you did it, my son. However, at the same time, Cross broke the treaty...

- Excuse me, I didn't break jack shit.

- Oh you did. The treaty said you were not allowed to mess with my creations... - Scarlet said while the reality around us began glowing red.

- Okay, first of all, I had no clue this one specific Backrooms universe was made by you, second, show me the part in this treaty that says that I am not allowed to blow up Partygoers for fun and yeet them out of existence. - He responded and  pulled out a long treaty written in an unknown to us language. - Go ahead, show me where it is written.

- Just because it is not there doesn't mean you can do it!

- Well Scarlet, that's exactly what it means. The next time, put a signature of yours in your Backrooms universes, so I can avoid them, okay?

For the next few minutes, they have been arguing about the treaty, until they decided to add one more addendum to it, as well as extend it and signed it once again. At the same time, we were wondering what to do because everything was destroyed and everyone was dead. There were no rules anymore, we were the last people left in this universe, and our lives depended on Scarlet King's mood. Luckily, he told us we wouldn't die, as we have proven ourselves in the Backrooms, but from now on we had to rely on ourselves.

- You can do whatever you want. I won't interfere in this universe anymore, nor I will do it with your Backrooms. You can try to fix this world, kill one another, or go back to the Backrooms, it is your choice. Now excuse me, I have another universe to destroy, I have spent way too much time in yours anyway.

Having said that he disappeared from this broken world, while Cross looked at us with a hint of sadness.

I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do for this world. The only thing I could do is take you with me to explore universes.

- Would it be possible to find a new universe for us? - Iris asked him curiously.

- Theoretically yes, in practice it would take a long time to find a universe that would accept all of you, much less accomodate your preferences. I will leave
your world for two days. You should have made your choice once I come back. For now, goodbye. - He spoke and disappeared just like the Scarlet King, leaving behind a crate of supplies while we had to make a decision, what to do.
