Tejasswi was hurt but also knew that Karan was not wholly wrong. Whatever he did was purely out of love and care. She got up and wanted to run after him, but couldn't, not in this condition. She didn't want to make her parents worry for her. She texted her manager to cancel her ad shoot for today, went to the washroom to get ready, and decided to go & meet Karan to talk, sort things, and come to a conclusion, once and for all.

She was about to leave her room after getting ready when her phone pinged. It was a message from Madhu, Karan's second sister.

Hi Teju. Kaisi hai tu? Vaise toh I know sab acha hi hoga, par jab time mile mujhe call karna, okay? Kaafi din se baat nahi hui.

Tejasswi was surprised and thought it was a coincidence. Madhu never messaged/called her on weekday mornings, as she was always busy in sessions with her clients. Tejasswi gave a reply to her and left her room. She was about to yell to inform her mother that she was going and would have her breakfast with Karan when she heard some chatter from their living room. She was shocked to see him sitting there.

Karan and her father were laughing at some joke cracked by her mother. They were all having breakfast, and Tejasswi felt a little sad. No one even called her for breakfast. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard her mom say, "Teju, uth gayi tu? Come fast and have your breakfast. Aa ja warna late ho jayega shoot ke liye."

She quickly went and helped herself to the breakfast. All this while, she could feel Karan staring at her, but she did not dare to even look at him, let alone make eye contact.

"Kitne mazze mein khaa raha hai dekho. Upar mujhse ladayi karke gaya. Aur yaha masti kar raha hai. Ab nahi manaungi isko main.", thought Tejasswi while eating.

She got up to leave when Karan asked her to go with him.

"Nahi Karan. Main chali jaungi. Ajmal bhai hai na. Tumhe poora ghoom ke jana padega."

"Par Laddoo, mujhe koi dikkat nahi hai. Isi bahane thoda time spend karne ko mil jayega. Vaise hi kaafi dino se dhang se milna bhi nahi ho paaya hai humara. Chal ab zyada soch mat. Aaja main bahar wait kar raha hoon teri."

Karan touched her parents' feet and said goodbye. Tejasswi followed him outside and quietly sat down in the passenger seat of his car. Karan started driving and took a turn that did not go in the direction of her Naagin set.

"Karan waha se left lena tha."

"Karan, kaha le jaa rahe ho mujhe?"

"Karan, hum bahot aage aa gaye hai!"

"Sunny, tum sunn rahe ho meri baat?"

"Haan bol Laddoo. Kya hua?"

"Kya hua matlab? Tum bina pooche kahi bhi drive kar rahe ho? Karan, kaha le jaa rahe ho mujhe?"

"Humare ghar le jaa raha hoon. The place where you are supposed to live, the place where you belong, right by my side. Jaha se tune bina bataye apna sab samaan toh hataya hi, saath mein mere kapde bhi le gayi."

"Karan maine bataya tha na Naagin schedule hai mera. Hectic rahega."

"First of all, it's Sunny for you. Haan bataya tha, par yeh sab tune khud se kiya hai Laddoo. Main janna chahta hoon ki maine aisa kya kiya jo tujhe mujhse jhooth bolna pada, mujhse door jana pada? Bata Tejasswi.", he took her hand in his own hand.
