When Y/n was finally discharged from the hospital, it was already time to head back home. Although a bit disappointed, Y/n had the class the whole sail back to their home to keep him company, and to keep him happy.
Everyone in class E all took their turns to make sure Y/n was comfortable and happy. Since Y/n missed most of the vacation due to him being in hospital or being too nervous for his own good, they basically made it their mission to give Y/n a relaxing time during the boat ride. They even stopped coming up with assassination plans for Y/n.
To say he was surprised was an understatement for Y/n. At first, Y/n was overwhelmed with the amount of attention he was given. However, he slowly learned to embraced it. In fact, Y/n started to love it. He craved the attention and would eat it up the minute he was given it. He finally felt like he was being cared for and seen by the people around him.
Y/n had fun during the boat ride back home. He laughed with his friends, he played games, he smiled. Y/n never thought that he would've been able to smile as brightly as he did, but here he was, and he wouldn't have changed it.
Karasuma had taken noticed of Y/n's behavior; how he would be running around with someone from his class or talking and laughing with another. Karasuma couldn't help but smile at Y/n's happiness. It made Y/n actually look like a real kid and not a trained weapon. He could only hope that it would last.
"We're finally home!!" Kayano cheered as she stretched her arms over her head. "Vacation I'll miss you!"
"So many crazy things happened, but I'm glad that we're back now," Sugino pointed out making most people nod their head in agreement.
"Alright everyone, make sure you have your bags and carry-ons!" Karasuma shouted as most students were already rushing around. "Let's go, the bus isn't going to wait for us forever!"
"Yes sir!!" The class shouted back with smiles.
Y/n couldn't help but chuckle, covering his mouth slightly as his smile reached his eyes. However, he yelped slightly when his hand was grabbed and pulled. He smiled at his friends as he ran with them.
"Come on, Y/n! Let's get everything!" Nagisa cheered, being the one who grabbed hold of Y/n's warm hand.
Y/n only gave Nagisa a closed eyed smile as he laughed. He nodded his head as he ran with Nagisa to their rooms. He felt so much lighter, freer, and just over all happier now that he spent so much of his time away from Shiro and more with his friends. Y/n could only wish that it stayed like this forever.
Boat quickly docked at the port, making E class cheer in happiness that they were back on land. One by one, with their partners beside them, E class made their way down to the docks. They were chatting up a storm with bright smiles, and even brighter eyes.
As a group, they all walked to the bus that was waiting for them. However, they stopped when they noticed a silver car next to the bus with tinted windows. Their smiles faltered in concern. Y/n, who was laughing with Chiba, paused himself mid-sentence. His eyes slightly widened, and his smile dropped. He could recognize that car anywhere.
