(F/n) smiled lightly before turning her attention to the rest of the kids who were coming in and making the classroom volume a lot louder than before. She internally cringed at the rise in volume but tried calming herself down since there wasn’t really anything that could change kids from being loud.
But Natsu noticed the change in volume and the slight change in behavior of (F/n). She saw (F/n)’s fingers fidgeting and placed her hand on top of (F/n)’s hand. (F/n) turned to her, her eyebrow slightly raised.
“Don’t worry,” Natsu gave her a gentle smile, “I’ll protect you from the noise,”

“Ahem,” Kisho coughed, “I’m here for you too (F/n),”
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞:
The school day went by quite fast for the small trio. They were like the three musketeers and did pretty much everything together. They made sure to stick to each other’s side while exploring the environment that would be their reality for the next 5 or so years.
It was now nearing dismissal time and the kids were waiting in front of the door to greet their parents or guardians who were waiting for them.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow,” Natsu said excitedly.
“Why?” Kisho asked.
“Because we get to hang out almost all day again,” Natsu explained.
“Now that’s the spirit,” Ayaka-sensei said, happy knowing Natsu was excited to be at school. She turned her attention to (F/n), who was sort of spacing out, “what about you (F/n)? Are you excited about school tomorrow?”
(F/n) looked at her and shrugged. She wasn’t really fond of having to wake up early to go back to school again. But, she did like hanging out with Natsu and Kisho.
“I’m sure you’ll get used to it,” Ayaka-sensei said before the final bell rang, signaling the students to go outside and find their parents.
The trio walked together outside, looking for whoever was going to pick them up that day.
“Kisho!” the silver-headed boy turned to see his older brother waving at him. His older brother seemed to be with two other boys.
“Natsu!”
“(F/n)!”
It was the trio’s older brothers, all together, waiting for the miniature version of them to get out of school.
“Dashi?” (F/n) walked up to him and hugged his legs, “I thought mom was supposed to pick me up,”
