Dark Embers

For the night is my refuge,
The dawn brings us again,
The truthful needle stuck on you,
Forcing the lies to perish,
Raised in distress,
A dark maze you obtained from me,
Seeking a way out, grating my heart,
Effortless pain, cast it away,
The faith I hold dear,
Easily it becomes fear,
I close my eyes and a pack of wolves,
Devouring my soul,

Hoping for a change,
Oh, I lost the way,
The light calling for us,
Give it a meaning,
Break down the walls,
The strength of your sickly arms,
Arise to your bond,
Feel the fright,
Rise for the war,

Above the clouds,
You cry like a newborn,
In the memory of your weakness,
The fading story,
Of what your glories should have been,
In eternal life,
A weary burden or a new insult,
Your image burned out,

Set sail to a new beginning,
Entering the dark ballad,
So long for yesterday,
There is nothing to hope for,
Scratching the silent whispers,
No leadership in you,
Embrace the dismay,
Come alive and accept the changes,
Order the crow to bring the gloom,

And in this hazy sense,
Drifting from the tears,
What is supposed to be a glare,
Turns out a mystic exit,
The embers of your darkness.
