Healing Process
Harry watches as a small, underfed boy was banished from the kitchen to a small room under some stairs. On his head is a scar that is red raw, as though it is nearly fresh, though it seems to be a long standing wound. The boys eyes show no signs of joy or happiness, and the room contains a threadbare mattress. The scene changes and the boy is now wearing glasses with a frame held together with sticky tape, still short, but when he finishes cooking, he's given a small bowl of some strange food, a single piece of the cooked meat, a slice of something along with an egg. The others at the table all have at least double that. The boy gets up and goes out to the kitchen with a plate, and then he's being chased across a field by the larger boy from the table, and 3 others. The boy is back in the kitchen, and he cracks an egg into the frying pan, only for a letter to fall out instead. Desperately he cracks the rest of the eggs, only to find a letter in each of them. A woman shouts at him and sends him up to a room full of junk.
Harry turns away from the scenes playing out to face the man in the wall, "Why show me this again, I happen to agree with the decision my toddler self made."
The man nods, "Yes indeed. But then this happened."
Harry turns back to see himself fishing on Demios when an owl appears out of nowhere carrying a letter. He almost shoots it out of the air before realising that it's not a native animal for the area. Quickly launching his archwing, he flies at full speed to the Necrolisk, where he takes the owl to Son to ensure it hasn't been infected.
He watches as a younger Hermione shouts to his back and he turns and shoots her, then carries her across the void. Then he watches as his mother gives herself a soul. Xeno's eyes turn silver as he talks to his mother. Luna's frame glows silver as she talks to his mother. The goblins expand beyond the reach of the British Ministry, Corpus mining equipment being used for improving lives rather than profit.
He shrugs, "I honestly don't think I'd change my actions at this point."
"I know," the man in the wall growls out, "the problem is her. She chose before I could make an offer, she always chooses before I can make an offer." Hermione kneeling beside a cairn as a Prime Titania appears in front of them.
Harry turns to him, "Sometimes, I think it's less about the bargain and more about the choice. She's one of yours, same as the rest of us are. Despite how different we are, how violent our lives are, how inhuman we appear, we offered her something she had only found with her family before now. Acceptance."
A scene shows with Harry sitting on the train, Hermione pointing at a word in the dictionary as he tries to say it. Then she's sitting at a table with both Neville and himself on either side while she reads out of a book. Of him holding her hand while she's in his Oberon Warframe. Of her getting support when she asks about believing that she's her Warframe. It ends with Harry killing the troll and then carrying her to the Hospital Wing. It ends with a scrawny boy with a scar on his face sticking his wand up a trolls nose.
Harry does a double take at the second scene.
"Just, bring her to the void."

Natah will forever deny the fact that she squealed in happiness when Harry's wisp sat up and clutched its head. Or that she immediately scooped her up into a hug.
"Hey mum, I need more practice before I do that again."
"You've been unconscious for 40 days. I thought you'd never heal."
"Thank you for looking after me. And thank you for giving yourself a soul for me."
"I don't want you using transference until you're fully healed and we've made sure that there is no lasting damage to your brain or your implants."
