A/n: I am so close to finishing this book! Thank you for all the lovely encouraging comments. I hope you will enjoy this chapter as well! Sorry for the slow updates, I am slowly losing my motivation but I hope to finish this book. If you all are lucky, I was thinking of writing a second book, an adventure for the future of Jamie and Y/n. How does that sound?

In the halls. everyone crowded outside of the door, pressing their ears to the door. They all backed away hurriedly when a loud bang resounded as if someone hit the doors with their backs. No one dared to interfere with whatever was going on behind those doors. After a few minutes, the door creaked open, revealing a slumped Ingrid and a cold Y/n. 

"W-what...?" Jamie muttered as Y/n walked out of the room, leaving Ingrid to lie on the ground. 

"Jamie. Follow me." Haru said, seeing his confused face.

"Jamie. You have to understand that you are also a rightful heir to the Mavarish throne. Right now, your father, Claude Wolfson, is working to overthrow Ellie's parents and get himself on the throne to be the next king. While that is still his plan, he also plans to get you to be the prince and future king. But he can't do that unless you have a princess to be the next queen with you. And that is why Y/n is here. He knows you two love each other even if you guys don't want to admit it for who knows what stupid reasons. But in order for Y/n to become the next queen with you, she needs to change herself, at least that is what Claude thinks. And that is exactly what Claude has been doing, slowly changing her to meet his standards of what a queen should be. It's twisted, I know. So I am trusting that you will come up with a plan to prevent this from happening. Do it for Y/n if not for Ellie." Haru explained. Jamie was in shock. But more in anger. 

"My...father. He is changing Y/n?" Jamie hesitated at the word but got past it. Haru nodded. 

"...look take some time, adjust, think and then come back to me. Claude has another plan that he wants to put into action sooner or later so be quick with it. You might want to check up on Y/n though." Haru sighed as he stared at Jamie's confused, stressed out look. 

Jamie watched as Haru turned a corner and disappeared. He had to find Y/n, the only problem was, he had no idea where the hell she was. Neither did he know where he was. Jamie started walking around aimlessly, guessing which way he should go. Soon enough, he stumbled across Julius. 

"What? Oh it's you. Welcome to the group. Why are you here though?" Julius asked. What? Why was he acting so nice? Jamie thought as he stared at the man in front of him. 

"I was trying to find Y/n, but I have no idea how to get around this place nor where she is." Jamie stated as he looked around, trying to find an excuse to get out of this awkward conversation. 

"Oh, well lucky you. I was on my way there, come on follow me." Julius smiled subtly as he continued walking forward. Jamie was starting to get even more confused but he followed the man through the long winding corridors. Finally, they reached a door that was painted a dark shade of (favourite colour). Y/n's favourite colour...

"Princess, it's Julius."

"Come in." 

Julius opened the door to reveal a large room, in the centre was training equipment and a punching bag. Y/n was pummeling the punching bag, not stopping even when they came in.

"What is it Julius." Y/n got straight to the point. 

"I've brought a guest who lost his way finding you." Julius smirked at the last part. Jamie rolled his eyes but still kept his gaze on Y/n. 

Finally, Y/n stopped punching the poor bag and turned around. She had a blank stare and straight face on. Y/n... 

"Jamie? What do you need?" Y/n lightened up a bit but not a lot. 

"Not much really, just wanted to talk to you." Jamie shrugged. Their roles seemed to have reversed. Jamie was the one with emotion while Y/n was the killing machine. 

"Julius, you heard him, out." Y/n said. Julius smiled a bit and sighed. He walked out of the door with a small wave, closing the door behind him. 

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Y/n grabbed her towel and started wiping her sweat. 

"How are you holding up?" Jamie asked. 

"...I'm fine. How bout you?" Y/n answered. 

" Not very good at the moment. Still adjusting to everything." Jamie answered back. 

Silence filled the room. He did not expect this to happen honestly. 

~Y/n~

"Jamie, do you think this is the right decision?" I asked him. That question caught him off guard as he flinched. 

I know I've changed drastically, Claude trying to change me so that I meet his expectations. But, it all feels so wrong. The only good thing is that Jamie is here now but, is that really good? It's so selfish of me to think it's good since it only benefits me and the enemy. Ellie and Lottie are on their own now. If Jamie is here, it will only be a matter of time when Claude will finally put his plan into full action.

"...I don't know what's right anymore. Everything seems so messed up so far." Jamie answered after a few minutes. 

He was right. Nothing seems right. So what should we do? 

"You have a plan don't you?" Jamie chuckled. 

"Wow you catch on quick Jamie." I smiled. This moment felt so normal but so wrong at the same time. 

"So tell me, almighty princess. What's your plan?" Jamie mocked. 

"Well if you must know strong and handsome prince. Claude is planning to strike the royals and Maradova during the Golden Flower Ball.( If anyone can remember the name of the ball please tell me! I accidentally forgot the name...) He plans to drug Ellie with the Hamelin Formula and use her to kill her parents. The royal family have cut ties with Lottie but we both know she won't stay still and quiet. During the ball we just have to find Lottie before the rest do and then get her to save Ellie from the formula. The others might be a problem but Haru is on our side so we have one more ally. Have you caught up?" I smiled as I ended.

"Of course, Princess. For now we just have to play Claude's game. " Jamie returned my smile with his sly one. 

I chuckled slightly, helping him up and to the door. 

"You should go. Meet me out the back tomorrow morning, 6:30." I set the time as Jamie opened the door. 

"I'll be there princess." 

"You better be<3"
