IN 1998,

Queen Ramonda and King T'Chaka had their second child, Shuri Udaku. One of their closest friends, Ime Kikelomo and Baako Kikelomo, had their first and only child in 1999, Ada Kikelomo.

Now, these two families didn't expect their kids to get along. After all, the Udakus are royalty. The Kikelomo's were only well respected. So when Shuri and Ada became friends, it shocked the families a little.

T'Challa became friends with Ada as well, but it was Shuri who became Ada's best friend. They became really close.

WHEN THEY TURNED 15,

Ada realized she was different from other people. She wasn't crushing on T'Challa as her friends thought. She wasn't even crushing on a boy. She was crushing on the opposite. She was crushing on a girl. She was crushing on Shuri.

She didn't know what to do.

Shuri was her best friend. She couldn't ruin that. She did what she thought would work.

She started ignoring her.

Shuri didn't know what she did. She just started being ignored and it hurt her a lot. I mean, a lot. One of her only friends for 15 years started ignoring her, but she didn't understand why.

Despite completely ignoring her, she still had feelings for her. She didn't know why she was feeling that way, but she was. And over time, she fell completely and hopelessly in love with Shuri.

She started talking to Shuri again and apologized every day to her, T'Challa, Ramonda, and T'Chaka.

And things went back to normal. As normal as it could be. Ada just liked Shuri more than a friend this time, but she never let it affect their friendship ever again.

JUST THREE YEARS AGO,

Someone dressed as the Black Panther started accompanying the real Black Panther on missions. They fought separately from the Black Panther, but they still went.

On the first mission that T'Challa went on as the Black Panther, he started fighting the other person.

When he got back, he started telling his mother and father about the other person. The King had to tell Wakanda about the person so that they would be aware. The entirety of Wakanda dubbed her the Second Black Panther.

It was T'Challa's duty to find out who the Second Black Panther was. But since he was in training and learning how to be King as he grew up so much, he didn't have time. So, he brought in one of the people he trusted the most.

Ada.

He had appointed her to learn things about the Second Black Panther. It was now her duty to protect Wakanda, in many more ways than one.

Shuri was nervous for Ada to do that task. It was a huge one. She was looking out for Wakanda.

But Shuri would be much more worried in 2016 after her father passes and Eric Killmonger comes into play.

But the worrying will never stop when Klaue pops up back on Wakanda's radar.
