After letting the paint dry so much, you finally got up and went to show the others . You grabbed both the masks and you set them in the middle of the table to show the others .
'' i finished them .''
You said excitedly .
'' holy shit these are so cool spook .''
Soap said while looking at them .
'' I see you had other plans instead of matching huh.''
Alejandro said with a smirk .
Ghost walked over and he stood next to you while looking at the mask interested in what has been done .
'' looks great , you even did our nationality . impressive.''
Ghost said while looking at the mask with your nationality on it .
'' dad i made that one for you .''
You said while giving him a soft smile .
'' Really now , thank you . i plan on wearing it on futures missions if there are any .''
You gave him a hug. and you placed your mask on your desk while cleaning up the cardboard laid on the floor and just cleaned up your mess overall .
'' hey y/n can you put this in my bottom draw in my room please ''
Ghost said while handing you the mask gently .
'' sure .''

You said as you took the mask and walked out the room and back down the hallway . you went in front of Ghosts door and walked over to his drawers next to his bed . you opened up the bottom draw and you saw the usual . rusty tools , knives and some empty gun casings . you placed the mask in the drawer gently making sure the paint didn't get scuffed up and you placed it down and closed the drawer and got up but something caught your eye . it was a paper hanging out of the top draw .
'' how did i not notice this when i got up today ?''
You wondered and you opened the top draw up fully and you found a picture . you saw the team but there was a woman . The woman stood on Ghost's shoulders and the rest of the team was beside them.
'' Who's that woman and why isnt she here if she was on task force 141 . ''
You said quietly to yourself . you flipped the picture on the blank side and you saw some writing on the back .
141,s best recruit .
Was the best recruit the woman ?
You didn't know what it was but all you knew is that you wanted answers . Why was she with your dad like that and why isnt she here if she was on the team?
You soon heard footsteps coming close so you folded up the photo and put it in your pocket quickly .
'' spook ? ''
Ghost was standing at the door with his arms crossed and giving you a stern look .
You smiled nervously and went towards the tall masked man. He hovered over you like a tower and you stepped out of the room all the way and tried to look not so suspicious .
'' what took you so long ?''
He asked curiously .
'' i dropped something and it rolled under your bed and i had to get it .''
You said while trying to come up with another excuse .
'' i ain't buying it ..''
He said arms still crossed with his stern stature .
'' dad im serious ''
You tried to say with a blank face . you were nervous . Ghost knows all too well to know when you're up to something and easily knows when you're hiding something . He looked down and noticed something sticking out of your pocket and he grabbed it swiftly . He unfolded the paper and saw the photo and went wide eyed .
'' where did you find this .''
He said quickly and sternly .
'' it was sticking out of your draw and i got curious .....i was gonna go to you and ask but you here now ...''
You said nervously .
'' you know better then to snoop than others stuff correct ,.''
'' i know but-
'' No buts y/n don't go in there unless i tell you to .''
He said, trying not to raise his voice at you .
'' i wondered ...whos the woman in the photo with you ?''
'' its none of your concern y/n now get goin .''
He tucked the photo into his pocket and he gave you a stern look .
'' but-
'' end of discussion you hear me .''
'' yes....''
You said quietly . you walked away but little did he know you swapped the photo that was in his pocket with a fake and took the original photo while walking down the hallway to the hangout room. You learned pickpocketing secretly and taught yourself . You figured if he didnt tell then you would ask someone else you trusted .
You went to Alejandro .
" tio aleandro I need you to meet me in the training room at 3:00 , ten minutes ."
You said in a whisper .
"For what Mija ?"
He asked, confused.
" I need answers."
He didn't question it but he just nodded and continued on with what he was doing. You crept off and went and You waited in the training room and you soon saw Alejdro enter the room and shut the door behind him .
" So what's your question that you need answers for ?"
He asked while crossing his arms .
You went closer to him and you took out the photo from your pocket.
" Who's the woman in the photo with my dad?"
You asked sternly.
" My dad didn't tell me and he was acting weird about it and he thought that if the woman was on the team why isn't she here ."
" aye Mija ..your father hoped you wouldn't find out soon ."
" What do you mean?"
" The woman in the photo is your mother ...."
" my mother ?"
" yes "
You were confused and a little bit upset , your mother ? Your father had told you that she died a long time ago after you were a year old .
" your mother was once on task force 141 , she was one of the greatest soldiers on the team until Ghost got the hots for her ."
Ghost had caught feelings for her and they wound up getting together and they may have been more than just friends at the time because she announced that she had gotten pregnant.
" Your mother and Ghost had gotten together and after a few missions we all found out she was pregnant with you. Once she found out she was pregnant she went on leave for a while to have you but it didn't go out as planned . "
You listened intently and everything you were hearing made you want to punch Ghost in the face .
" Ghost was ready to be a father but your mother wasn't......they fought a lot and in the end Ghost your father had kept you with him here ."
" thank you for telling me but why the fuck didn't he tell me."
" He wanted to tell you when you were older and understood ."
" Oh I understand plenty, where is he?"
You soon saw Ghost burst through the doors to find you with Alejandro .
" You didn't tell her, did you?"
Ghost said while walking over to you .
" Why didn't you tell me ! , why didn't you tell me that my mother wasn't dead ! "
" this isn't the way I wanted you to find out ok yn"
Ghost said sternly while giving the death glare towards Alejandro .
" I'll explain everything just not now ."
Ghost said while coming towards you more .
" No, I have a right to know !"
You shouted .
" and I'll tell you everything in a few okay please just understand me ."
Ghost said .
"Fine ..."
You huffed angrily .
