kim's pov

"Your dad insists you do the launch and he expects you to bring your new bride along"
"I'll be seeing you my love" I try to remember Kim Hyun joong lover's visit, it felt so odd to me that I didn't know anything about his love life
When he left, I quickly went up to his safe to try the lock because I often seen him facing that direction
But unfortunately I couldn't, which left me wondering what more could he be hiding there.

Kim Hyun Joong's POV
I already prepared everything for the launch and my surprise for my wife once my sole proprietorship has been announced
It all happened so fast. The lobby was used for the plot of the launch and everyone was around including my husband's uncle
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Kim" i greeted my uncle-in-law
"Please just call me Don" he said smiling mischievously at me
"Forgive my husband for being so formal. I'm really happy to meet you here" she (Kim Hyun Joo)  said giving me a warm hug
"Thank you. Mrs.." I wasn't sure if she wanted me to call her by her first name or nickname
"I have no nickname like my husband, you can call me aunt" she said warmly
"Sure Aunt" i reciprocated back a warm smile
"I hear you're losing the company to your dad's mistress today or my dad" Park Ji Bin teased Kim Hyun Joong
"What?" I was a bit surprised
"It's alright Kim. He's only joking. Not gonna happen" my husband said to me placing his hand on my back as he waved to his mom who was approaching us
"Mom" Kim Hyun Joong called out to his mom
"You just couldn't miss could you?... Sister" Kim Hyun Joong's aunt teased
"I wanted to see what that whore has that I don't posses. Forgive me for not missing my son's event" she boasted fixing up herself in her fashionable coat
"You sure boasted your stylist to Kang Ha Neul's Mom, Kang Ha Nee" aunt waved towards Kang Ha Neul and his mom's direction. His mom couldn't seem to hide out her stern look towards my husband's mother

"The fashion war is really true" I whispered jokingly to my husband but everyone could hear me
"What?" She asked but I played dumb
"You're here. Try not to ruin this night for my son" I can sense she still hates my guts
An elegant but pompous lady approached us from the coming from the entrance with her escort smiling "I had to force my husband to come greet you all" She said holding onto his arm tight
"Of all creatures, you settled for this worm" she said to my Kim Hyun Joong. She was that same strange b**ch who came to my house the other day
"You had no shame bringing her here to humiliate yourself more Kim Su Ro" My mother in law said to the man. Turns out it was my husband's father
The lady said nothing but snickered bluntly. She wasn't even affected at all
"You should be more worried about your son" she said tilting her head at my mom in law
"Enjoy this while it lasts. Ta" she said evilly as she left with Kim's dad
"What going on Kim. Is everything okay?" I asked feeling a bit concerned for him
"Don't worry everything is..." he got distracted Min
"Bro we need you." He pretended not to notice me at first or maybe he truly didn't but that hurt me a little
"Oh. Kim?" He didn't even let me reply cutting me off as he left with Kim Hyun Joong. I could stop but admire his curly head of hair all night long. Min looked so handsome tonight that I wished he was my plus one and not my husband but I felt a little guilty for thinking this way
Maybe his aunt notice the sulky look on my face
She turned to face her son
"Ji Bin could you get us both two glasses of wine?"
"Sure" he responded politely headed towards the small bar
