"What is that?" I asked and pointed to the paper in his hand. "Uh..." Jeremy shifted uncomfortably, looking at Will.

"You're including me in this whether you like it or not." I said then clenched my jaw.

"You've been spending too much time with Colby." Will said as I shook my head.

"I'm my own person and I'm sick of people underestimating me." I said then reached my hand out for the paper.

"There's no stopping you is there?" He asked as I shook my head. "Nope." I said then watched as he sighed and handed me the paper.

4567 Waterleaf Way. Come before noon or he's dead. Bring the girl.

"What time is it?" I asked and snapped my head up to look at them. "Eleven thirty, why?" Will asked as I stood up.

"We have to go." I said and handed Will the letter.

I watched as he read it, his eyes narrowing slightly. "There's no way." He said then put the paper down.

"You just want him to die so you can take over!" I yelled, feeling hysteria building up.

"Julia, that's not how this works and you know it." Will said as I shook my head angrily.

"Why do you even care? You hate him." Jeremy asked as my eyes watered.

I didn't know why I cared so much. Colby and I's relationship has been tense but it didn't mean I wanted him to be killed.

"It doesn't matter. We don't have time for this." I said and stood up. "He's going to kill us if we bring you anyways." Will said as I shook my head.

"Not if he's dead first." I said then left the room. I didn't care to be told no this time. I wasn't a little girl and could do whatever I needed to do.

It wasn't like I had anything to really live for anyways.

"Julia! You can't just walk around down here!" Will hissed as he chased after me.

"I can and I will." I snapped and looked around. I needed to find some sort of weapon that I could bring with me to this place.

I walked until I saw the door to Colby's office. There was a keypad lock on it so I had to guess what the passcode would be to get in.

I decided to try his birthday first since that was the most obvious thing he could put.

When the door opened I rolled my eyes.

"Fucking idiot." I mumbled then walked into the room. "You can't go in there." Will said as he grabbed my arm.

"No. You can't." I said then pulled my arm back and closed the door. Once I was in his office I started going through stuff, looking for a gun of some sort.

I hated the violent parts of this life but if I was going head on into the danger I would need something to fight with.

After a couple minutes of searching I found a hand gun, and a couple discreet knives. One was in the shape of a comb and the other was a pen.

"Perfect." I mumbled as the phone in my pocket buzzed.

"Hello?" I answered, seeing it was Jake's phone calling. "What's going on, Julia?" Sam asked as I shoved the weapons I have found in my pockets.

"I'm coming out now, go to the alley." I said then hung up. I knew it was probably frowned upon to go against the most powerful gang in the country but I didn't care.

They weren't taking this seriously enough.

I stormed down the hallway until reached the elevator. I needed a badge to open it but I clearly didn't have one.
