Noelle is the older sister of Richelle and has been dancing with The Next Step since she was three. They always say don't mix relationships with business, in this case with dance. It seems like Noelle found herself mixing both dance and relationship...

JAMES AND I WERE MINDING OUR own business in Culture Shock when we got a text from Kate saying it was an emergency.
"What do you think it is now?" I ask, lacing my fingers with James as we walk down the halls.
"It can't be anything we haven't done before." He looks down at me and smirks.
I immediately get flashbacks to when me and James had to get Regionals costumes and the amount of stops we made just for us to barely grab them.
Yeah, I don't feel like doing that again.
"Hey, what's this emergency?" James asks, dropping my hand and taking a seat. My heart pangs a little, and I don't know why.
Kate sighs, "As I'm sure you saw on your walk in, Beth is pretty upset that she didn't make it into A-troupe." She explains.
Beth has interfered with James and my relationship before, and even though I don't hate her, she always tries to pull us apart.
"It's upsetting, yes. But what does that have to do with us?" I lean forward. Not making A-troupe is a downer, but if Beth wanted to get in, I don't think moping around will help.
"Glad you asked, cause then her duet partner Charlie bailed on her, and she's gone all Beth again." I look at James, raising my eyebrows, already knowing what she's going to ask.
"Anyways, that's why I brought you guys in. James, I would really appreciate it if you stepped up and decided to be her partner for the competition."
I look from Kate to James, giving him a worried look.
"Beth is a good dancer, but just because things aren't necessarily working out for her doesn't mean me or James have to make it work."
James sighs, "sure." He answers.
"Thank you! I totally appreciate that." Kate smiles brightly.
"Yeah, don't worry about it." James responds.
"Why don't you go tell her the good news?" James agrees, leaving me and Kate in the office.
"Everything okay, Noelle?" She asks, her smile faltering.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm just going to go." I answer quickly and leave in the opposite direction from James and Beth.
James is loyal. Beth, well, she tried to get back together with him at regionals. Yeah, he told me.

James offered me to watch him and Beth rehearse. At first, my initial answer would've been no, but my slight fear that Beth would try something was the reason I said yes.
Trying to be a nice person, I brought some drinks for the three of us.
Walking into studio A, I see a bit of James and Beth's duet, and I won't lie, the choreo is not bad whatsoever, but it's a little too handsy for my liking.
