Izuku gets into the tub, relaxing and letting out a deep breath. Katsuki shifts, hugging his knees close to his chest, almost shrinking. Izuku watches as he moves.
"So, your nervous about us taking a bath together but you're not nervous about what you did on my bed? You make no sense."
Katsuki grumbles, glaring at him, then back at the water.
"You just don't get it..."
They sit in silence yet again. Katsuki watches the water shift.
"Come here."
He is slightly startled by the command but follows anyway. He slowly moves. awkward and nervous. He turns and Izuku puts his hands on his waist, pulling him close, trapping him. He buries his head in Katsuki's hair, the action making Katsuki turn red and stiff.
"Relax. I'm not gonna do anything to you. I still need to think of where to put you..."
A scared hand making its way to Katsuki's hair, playing with the strands as Izuku talks. Being so close, Katsuki can feel the rumble of his voice inside his chest against his back.
"Either i let you stay here, send you away, or make you another corpse in the basement."
Katsuki feels chills going up his spine as Izuku leans closer to speak right in his ear. Katsuki's hands curl up into tight fists, scared and embarrassed.
"But if i did let you leave, I think you'd just come crawling right back. You can't go to the police and even if you did, you would go down too. I mean, you did stab a girl. Besides, if that isn't enough to convince you, i have friends in the police force to protect me. So, what is best?"
Izuku says it more as a mumble, more to himself then to Katsuki. He flinches at the thought of going back home again. A small twitch in his arm that Izuku doesn't miss.
"I... I don't want to go back to that hell hole. I wanna.. Stay here."
Izuku grins, something Katsuki can't see from his position, but he can practically hear it from the tone of Izuku's voice.
"And why would you want to do that? You do know that i kill people, right? That i keep them in my basement? Doesn't that scare you?"
Izuku knows what Katsuki's answer is.
"It's funny, i didn't even do anything bad to you and you wanna stay here. You must be really sick in the head."
Katsuki stares at the water, a blank expression on his face, the red no longer there.
"It's not that, though that could be part of it, the main reason is cause... I love you. Your all i got left and i won't let you go. Your stuck with me now and you won't be able to get rid of me. The love i feel for you is never going to leave no matter how much you fucking want it to and even if its batshit crazy."
Katsuki turns around and pulls Izuku closer than before. Izuku laughs and Katsuki watches as his eyes crinkle slightly. He can clearly see every freckle dotting his face from how close he is.
