☆Chioma
"What the hell??" I muttered stepping back as the contents spilled from my locker. Who was looking for trouble this early morning. From the corner of my eyes I saw a group of girls giggling while taking pictures. I understood. I squatted to pick up my stuff that fell with the trash.
"Hey, Chioma." Kristopher was helping me.
"Hi." He smiled at me. "Thank you." The crowd waiting for drama was dispersing and I was grateful. Kris and I went to class late because I had to clean up the mess. The teacher didn't mind, lucky me.
I sat beside Kristopher who wasn't paired up with anyone this year. Kenneth was on his own and I could feel his eyes following my actions. It was becoming really creepy. I had to sit with him for English and I refused to acknowledge his presence. It was hard though. I wasn't even focused. His eyes were on me all through and it was distracting.
"Vivian."
Riiiiiiinnnnnnggg
He muttered curses at the bell while I packed up and ran out to the lunch room.
Then it was Buchi This time trying to apologize. I ordered my food quickly and texted Kris to know where he was sitting. He was with the Royals. He welcomed me though other kids were acting snobbishly. "Your brother's glaring at me. Did I offend him?"
"Nah. I'm not sitting with him that's why. We're not on speaking terms."
"Something happened?"
"I need space from him." He chuckled.
After lunch, Kris and I parted ways to attend our classes agreeing to meet after school. I went to my fashion design class.
God knows why I chose these classes because I don't. But I was doing well and I liked it. The teacher said that the main sewing classes would begin next semester. That was one of my problems here. Everyone in my class were already prepared before and had these classes regularly. It was my first time and compared, I was far behind.
"Hi Chioma." Maryanne hugged me. "Come on or we'll be late." We went in together and I took my place on my seat.
"So, students, today, we'll be continuing our sketches and they'll be checked today. So continue from where you stopped." I placed my pencils and sketchbook on my desk. "I want to see ingenuity people. New ideas. Who knows, your dress might be on someone attending the Met next year." I smiled.

"I have to met someone. Come on, Vivian. I'll meet your friend next time."
"Who are you going to see?" She turned away taking her phone from the table.
"No one. Just forget it. I'll come with you but only for a few minutes." I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Okie." I locked up my room and we went to the recreation area where Kris was waiting. "Hi." I waved bouncing towards him. He got up, dropping his book and hugged me.
"What's making you so happy?" He laughed. "Is coming to meet me that exciting?"
"Yes..." I drawled. "And I brought a friend. She's here."
"Maryanne?" He knew her? Great! "She's your friend?"
"And my roommate. In a way." I grinned as she walked closer. "So.. Maryanne, meet.." She waved to cut me off.
"No need. We know each other. Long time, Kristopher." He rolled his eyes. "So, Vivian... I've met him. Can I go now?" She wasn't happy to see him. Neither was he. I nodded. "Thanks."
