ghost had woken up early and he sat at his desk thinking . When you were out yesterday he set up all his things in his room where they needed to be but coming back here was something he didn't want to do . It brought back many memories that he just wanted to get rid of.
He opened one of the draws and he rummaged around and he saw an old picture . The picture you had found not too long ago . He sighed as he picked it up and just looked at it . He didn't want to think about your mother again . He wanted nothing to do with her at this point , he hated that he still cared about her, he hated that he still wished that she didn't want to get rid of you but the thing that bothered him was that she all of a sudden wanted you back . 
I don't want her .
Those words rang throughout his head .
She made him choose between him and his own child . It's crazy how he even managed to get her to even have you . He felt bad that you didn't have a mother like most children should have. You were glad to have him and him only but he felt as if you shouldn't see what you have seen .
He promised to make sure you never went through what he went through . He didn't want to see you end up like how he did . Ghost had been through so much in his lifetime and the only thing that he had was you . He never told you about his past and you never dared question it . He didn't want to scare you in any way so he never told you . Ghost never dared raise his voice at you in the slightest , he may say things a bit stern but he never raises his voice at you . He's never raised his hands towards you or has done anything wrong to you . He never drinks in front of you and when he does drink he minimizes it cause he knows he has to take care of you. Your mother wanted you back and ghost wanted to dig deeper , screw the fact she had an affair but he wants to know why she all of a sudden wants you back after she ruined a relationship that could have been something great but turned to shit.he felt closed off about it but it didn't matter cause he wanted it to stay like that but when he looked at autumn a switch flipped in him , almost as if he took an interest in the new woman . Ghost had seen you taking a liking to your new neighbor , your friend. It was unusual for people to take a liking to him at times . Ghost looked back on the picture and he realized how similar autumn looked to your mother . He didn't like that part because it made him wonder and made him want to ask but he had to be silent if he wanted to get his answers. He was broken from his thinking when he saw you dressed in cuffed up jeans and a tucked in black shirt with your hair in your beanie.
" Dad, I'm going to hang out with Hunter for a bit. I'll be back. He and he are heading to the park to hang out ."
You said as you fixed your boots .
" bring your pepper spray."
He said as he got up and turned his body fully to you .
" Dad, I've literally killed grown men before and you're worried about me going out with a boy MY AGE that is UNSKILLED ."
You laughed .
" just bring it alright ."
He said throwing it to you .
" alright whatever helps you sleep at night ."
You chuckled and took the spray from him sliding it on your side . You gave him a quick hug and left while he told you to come home before dark and you ran out the door . Ghost took this as his cue and he got up and walked out of his room and down to the kitchen to see Riley holding his bowl .
" I know your hungry buddy ."
He took out the dog food and Riley dropped his bowl and he put food in it . Riley quickly got to eating and ghost grabbed a cheese stick and just ate that . He let Riley be and went back upstairs to his room and he slipped on some black cargo pants and a nice fitting black shirt sleeve shirt . He put on his boots and put on his mask while going back downstairs . He opened the door to the outside and Riley zoomed past him .
" OI GET ."
ghost sand as he stepped outside and snapped his fingers at Riley. Riley ran around for a moment and he went back at ghosts side .
" you only listen when y/ns around huh ."
Ghost lightly chuckled .
" Oh hi ."
Attum said with a smile  as she walked out of her house onto the porch .
" oh uh hey ."
Ghost said quietly .
" I see hunter and y/n have gone out ."
She said as she placed a box next to her door step .
" yeh there out ."
Ghost said as he wished he hadn't stepped outside .
" Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to head for some tea later on if you had time ."
She said as she looked up at ghost .
" oh , sure .."
Ghost said wide eyed .
This was his moment , his chance to maybe find out answers but something was different about him and he saw something in her but he never understood why, She's a single mom who took an interest in the mysterious masked man so most likely she wants him but after what happened with Ghosts first lover he never really wanted to go into the dating thing again but that all might just change today.
