Y/n POV:

Sometime later were waiting for Lo'ak to come back. I sat next to Neteyam, pressing a quick kiss on his cheek, "It's gonna be okay. He's too stupid to die." I reassured him. "I know. I'm just worried. You'd knew if you'd have any brothers." He told me. "I know. My family is shit. But Lo'ak is also a brother to me. And Kiri and tuk. I see them as family. But my family status right now is preventing me from being anything else than a captured girl of a mass murderer," I said putting my hands on his. "It's gonna be okay."

At that moment, we heard the horn. Meaning he has returned. We both leapt towards the scene. Lo'ak was okay. His father checked for any damage. "He's okay. Just a few scratches." He announced.

Neytiri juped down to him. "I pray for the strength that I don't pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son," she hissed in his face. "No, my son knows better than to take him outside the reef. The fault was his." Tonawari said pushing Aonung down on his knee. "Okay, let's go," Jake was ready to leave.

"No, this is not Aonung's fault. This was my idea and he tried to talk me out of it." Lo'ak told him. My head snapped in his direction. Did he just take the blame? I don't believe it. We walked back to the hut while listening to Jake scold his son. "What happened to keeping an eye on your brother? Did some girls get in your head?" Jake turned to Neteyam. "No- I- Sorry sir." He said looking down. We walked behind them. Making sure his parents weren't looking, I pushed him to the side. "Mhm, no girls right, big boy?" I giggled running on. "When did that happen?" Lo'ak asked Neteyam smiling.

We reached their hut and they all went to sleep. I couldn't. Around 3 hours later, I heard Lo'ak sneaking out. "And where are you going?" I asked him before he could leave. He sighed, "On a quick walk. I can't sleep," he told me. "On a quick walk with Tsireya? Or more?" I asked him as his cheeks turned pink. I let him go but woke up Neteyam. "Hey, big boy, you're brother just sneaked out! Come, we're gonna follow him," I told him taking his hand out of the hut. We followed Lo'ak and Tsireya, surprisingly they weren't doing anything special. Just walking and talking. "He's not hitting on her very well. Teach your brother some tricks. It's clearly not working," I told him looking back at Neteyam who was half asleep. "Oh, you big baby," I said pressing a kiss on his forehead before, I led him back to the hut where I snuggled up to him for warmth.

The next morning, we were chatting with the Metkayina teens. "The ocean blessed you with a gift, brother. " Kiri said smiling at Lo'ak who was explaining what happened the night before. "The tulkun have not returned yet. And no tulkun is ever alone," Aonung explained. "But this one was. He had a missing fin, like a stump on the left side," Lo'ak pointed to his left arm.

"Payakan," Tsireya looked at her brother. "Who's Payakan?" I asked. "A young pulu who went rouge. He's an outcast. Alone. And he has a missing fin," Rotxo explained. "Some say he's a killer," Tsireya added. "He killed na'vi and other tulkun," Aonung told him. "No, no. He's not a killer. I'm telling you guys. He saved my life. He's my friend," Lo'ak told us again.

"My baby bro. A mighty warrior. Who faced a killer tulkun and lived to tell about it," Neteyam said jokingly. Lo'ak huffed and left.

"Y'all wanna go visit the sacred tree?" Tsireya asked.

And we did. I decided I could go with Neteyam so I sat in the back of his ilu, my hands wrapped tightly around his torso. Our heads broke the surface to see the landscape. It was beautiful, nothing like I'd ever seen. We swam down to its leaves. Tsireya pointed at us to connect our queues to the tree. I hesitated but I still did. I closed my eyes.

I saw myself? And Neteyam? He held me in his hands while we sat on a rock next to my dad's lifeless body. I was crying in Neteyam's chest. I saw the Sully family on the opposite rock. Jake Sully with a gun in his hand. No this can't be! He can't kill him! He's still my family, he can't die! Eywa what are you showing me?!

I opened my eyes and pulled back my queue. I didn't have time to think about what I saw. I saw Kiri shaking underwater. Everything was glowing and flickering. I unconnected the queue and started dragging her up to the surface with help of Neteyam and Tsireya. I had her in my arms. I sat on Neteyam's ilu to check if she was okay. Her heartbeat was slow but it was still there.

Suddenly I got a shock of energy in my right hand, I placed it on her forehead and the water droplets on her started glowing. She opened her eyes for a moment signalling she was awake but soon fell back to unconsciousness. I didn't know what I did but it looked like something good.

We rode back to the village. Jake called some of their human help. It looked very serious. I sat next to Kiri with Tuk in my arms. She was clinging to me. They put Kiri on lots of devices, similar to the ones I woke up on with my avatar. Ronal came in, seeing all the equipment. "I see I'm not needed here," she tried walking out, but Neytiri stopped her. After some mother-mother contact, Neytirr started stealing, "Out! Out! You have done nothing!" And the men moved away.

She sat down next to Kiri getting her things ready, but immediately after placing a hand on her she stopped. "I feel the presence of a healer. She has been touched by a healer," she looked at Neytiri. Tuk looked at me, " When we were in the water back at the tree, Y/n put her hands on Kiri and the water around them started glowing," Tuk told them. They all looked at me. "I swear I had no idea what I did," I told them in confusion.

"Come," Ronal told me. I let go of Tuk coming closer. She put some water on Kiri's head and chest. "Put your hands there," she told me. I did as she said putting my hands on her head and chest. I closed my eyes but I could feel my energy flowing down my fingertips down to her. I opened my eyes to see the water glowing. I pulled my hands back and Kiri opened her eyes, crying. Neytiri and Tuk quickly pulled her in a hug. "God, what did I do," I asked shocked that it actually worked. "Girl. You're a healer," Ronal looked at me. "But, how?" I said looking down at my hands which had strange symbols made with glowing dots. "This village hasn't had healers in decades. I don't understand how some forest girl could be born with such abilities," Ronal questioned looking at Jake. "Who is her father?" she asked him. "Dead," I replied before he could. "Mother?" she asked. "Human. Dead," I replied again. "Well, Eywa must have a special job for you then," Ronal replied. Weird.
