A.N: here's another.

College starts back tomorrow so who knows when the next one will be. I'll try my hardest not to abandon you all again, I'm terribly sorry. I hope you enjoy it :)

The two rode the elevator in a thick silence. Seven could hear the sound of her own heart beating due to the painful lack of music. She had no idea what had caused Yelena to act this way and she wasn't sure she would get a nice answer if she asked.

So she didn't. They continued in silence.

The trek to the compound was going to take them almost an hour, and that was walking quickly.

The teenager stared up at the streetlamps as she passed them, amazed at the bright lights. She then turned her attention to the lights in windows, trying to imagine who could possibly be behind them.

She lasted half an hour before the street lights thinned out and buildings began to cease. With nothing around to look at, her attention was directed to observing the blonde walking slightly in front of her.

"I can feel you staring." She said, causing Seven to jump slightly. "прекрати это" (stop it.)

"Sorry" Seven replied. She directed her gaze to the floor and she began counting her steps.

"Do you have to do that out loud?" Yelena complained.

"I didn't even realize I was." Seven muttered before apologizing once more. "I can't walk the rest of this walk if you keep acting like you hate me."

"I don't hate you." Yelena replied.

They were walking in darkness due to the lack of streetlights, and any people around were well back in the city. So it was just the two of them walking the pathway, in the dark.

"Well what's wrong then?" Seven asked, jogging to catch up with her.

"Nothing is wrong." She shook her head.

"Obviously, that is a lie." Seven rolled her eyes. "Yelena,"

The older widow was silent before she reached up to her earpiece and tapped it off, cutting off the background noise that she had been listening to. The other three had decided to discuss who their favorite Gilmore girl character was.

Seven had no idea what a Gilmore girl was, but she was enjoying the debate nonetheless. However, when Yelena pointed to her own earpiece and mouthed 'off,' Seven instantly tapped it, silencing the conversation. Now they couldn't hear them, and the three couldn't hear the two either.

Yelena swallowed thickly.

"She's my sister."

Seven furrowed her brows, thinking. "Who is?"

"Natasha Romanoff, 'the black widow'. You know," Yelena refused to look at Seven and Seven didn't know what to say.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"But you were literally talking to her the other day at the casino." Seven said, "Is this your way of telling me you're a very good double agent?"

Yelena shook her head. "No, I haven't seen her since I was very small. She didn't recognize me."

Seven could see the frown on Yelena's face.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Seven asked

"We were in the middle of a mission?" Yelena replied, as if it was obvious.
