💙Kuro x reader💙

(Y/n) sat patiently in the living room staring up at the clock on the wall across from her, her mother had promised to come home early today to celebrate her fifth birthday with her. Her mother had wished her a happy birthday earlier that morning, she made her breakfast and gave her the first present of the day. As her mother got ready she told her she would be back early today to properly celebrate since she felt guilty that she didn't celebrate her previous birthday like they should have. As her mother had promised she returned home earlier than normal, (y/n) jumped up from her spot and made her way over to the front door. (Y/n) was excited when she saw that her mother had presents and a cake but what really caught her eye was the small basket that had a small blanket inside of it. Her mother set down her cake and presents on the table before she told (y/n) there was something special for her in the basket. Her mother handed her the basket and (y/n) took off the blanket revealing a small black cat that was sleeping peacefully. (Y/n) was beyond excited since she had been asking her mother for a pet since she was three and now she finally got what she wanted. She set the basket down before giving her mother a hug and thanking her, she then brought her attention back to her new friend. She carefully picked him up and held him in her arms, (y/n) decided to put a collar on him and give him a name. After thinking of many suitable names for her new companion she settled on the name Kuro.

(Y/n) was glad to have Kuro with her since her mother was often gone from the house to go to work and now she didn't feel so alone. She spent most of her time playing with Kuro, she would watch tv with him, they would eat some of her snacks, she dressed him up, and the two of them would take naps together. For a few weeks, (y/n) was completely unaware that her pet cat was a vampire, that is until she woke up from a nap to find Kuro in his human form looking through the pantry trying to find out if they had any ramen. Of course, after (y/n) saw him, she got scared and started crying. Kuro returned to his cat form to comfort her and explain to her what he was before apologizing for scaring her. Of course, he wanted to leave now that she knew that he was a vampire but (y/n) didn't want him to leave. She teared up and pleaded with him to stay with her because she didn't like being alone in the house for long periods of time. In the end, Kuro decided to stay with her since he didn't want to make her cry again. Of course, he did ask her to not tell her mother about him, (y/n) promised to keep it a secret. Kuro stayed with (y/n) even though she wasn't his eve, he didn't think it was right to leave, especially not when (y/n) asked him to promise her that he wasn't going to leave her.

As time passed, (y/n) grew up and Kuro eventually made her his eve since he had grown fond of her and didn't mind having her as his eve. Once (y/n) started high school things started to get more stressful for her as she worried about her school work and exams. But aside from all of that there was one thing (y/n) was currently fighting with herself over. It was about how she felt about Kuro, on one side she really loved him and on the other she thought she just loved him like he was a dear friend. She didn't want to make things awkward between each other and besides she had her hands full with her current assignments. (Y/n) eventually came to terms with the fact that she did have romantic feelings for Kuro but she wasn't sure if he felt the same way she did, for all she knew he just saw her as a friend. It took her awhile to finally have the courage to confess her feelings but she didn't expect Kuro to confess first. The funny thing was that the very day he picked to confess to her was on valentine's day a couple of months later. That day Kuro decided to stay at home which (y/n) found strange since he always accompanied her to school, mostly because he wanted to stop by the convenience store to buy more snacks afterward. (Y/n) didn't think much of it at the time and she went to school. She had no idea that it was valentine's day until she arrived at school and saw the hallways decorated with many pink, red, and white hearts. Aside from that many couples were everywhere giving each other chocolate, placing love letters in lockers, or in some cases confessing their love to their crushes. It was a sweet holiday that (y/n) spent every year alone with no one to give chocolate to but this year she did have someone in mind that she would like to confess and give sweets to. The day went on rather slowly and (y/n) couldn't pay attention to what the teacher was saying as she was too busy thinking about what she was going to say to Kuro later that day. Once class was over, (y/n) happily went over to the store to get some chocolate she could give to Kuro. On her way home she was practicing what she was going to say . (Y/n) did think it was silly and a little cliché to confess specifically on this day but all her classmates were doing it so why not join in as well. As she made her way home she ran into Kuro who was walking out of a store a few feet away holding flowers and chocolate. Kuro hadn't noticed her so when (y/n) sneaked up on him and asked what he was doing. Startled by her sudden appearance he tried to hide the stuff he had in his arms but gave up when he noticed that she had something as well, (y/n) once again asked him what he was up to. (Y/n) waited patiently for him to give her an answer, it took a minute until Kuro finally told her the truth. (Y/n) thought it was cute how he was trying to confess, he was pretty embarrassed and could hardly form a complete sentence. After that (y/n) accepted his confession, she told him that she felt the same way and had been waiting for a chance to properly tell him. The two of them exchanged gifts and went home together to celebrate and plan where they were going to be going on their first date later that weekend.

Years later, ( Y/n) sighed happily as she walked into her home, she had been working most of the day and she was glad to be home. She knew being a nurse was going to be a lot of work but she was glad she could help others as much as she was able to. Even so the work was tiring and stressful at times but it wasn't anything that she couldn't handle. After working for so long, she was finally given some vacation time and she was happy to be taking a couple of weeks off. She walked into the living room carrying a few snacks she had bought on the way home and looked around for her lazy servamp. She was surprised how clean her home looked since she had been so busy lately that she hadn't picked up the place.

" Kuro, I'm home!" she called out as she walked into the house.

The living room was empty, no sign of her lazy servamp. As she walked closer to the kitchen, she heard noises and figured Kuro was looking for snacks or ramen to eat. When she walked into the kitchen she giggled when she saw Kuro who from what she could see was trying to make dinner for the two of them. She walked in and set the bags on the counter that was littered with plates and food before making her presence known. Kuro was surprised that she had come home earlier than expected but he was happy to see her since he missed her during the day while she was at work.

" Well, this is a nice surprise. Since when do you know how to cook?" (y/n) asked.

" It's such a pain to watch you do everything around the house when you come home so I figured I could start helping you out." he replied.

( Y/n) smiled and hugged him, " You're the best Kuro, I love you."

Kuro blushed, " I love you too."

(Y/n) let go of him and began getting a few things out of the bags she had brought.

" I'll help you finish making dinner but you're going to clean up the mess you made."

The two of them were happy with how things turned out for them, (y/n) was glad that she had someone special to spend the rest of her life with. While Kuro was glad he didn't end up leaving like he had planned other wise he wouldn't have someone as amazing as (y/n) as his wife.
