Part 4, help from friends

Mason's POV:

Trudging through the dark forest to meet this human who both of us owe,

Kevin: are you sure this is a good idea, shouldn't we just arrest him?

Mason: we should but we owe him, he saved your wife and my sister-in-law

Kevin: still, we're giving him stolen equipment and half a months pay from both of us, and you need the money to support your family

Mason: I know but like I said we owe him

Kevin: fine, but it's your fault if we get court marshaled

Mason: a court marshal is the least of our worries, we could be thrown in prison, or to that pmc company

Kevin: great

We continue our way through the forest until we arrive at the right location, a simple clearing with a rock circle, then a whistle his heard to our left, looking we see a figure obscured by the night pointing a gun at us, we both raise our hands,

???: you Mason?

Mason: yes, you Arthur?

Arthur: yeah, you have what I asked

Kevin: yes, against are better judgment, but we do owe you a favor

Arthur: thanks, sorry for the trouble I've caused you, if I could, I'd just want to be left alone, but that's not really a possibility

Mason: I can understand that, being in your shoes would be very difficult to live, hope you get your memories back

Kevin: me too, and thank you for saving my wife

Arthur: you're welcome, but she's the one that saved me, here, I believe this is yours

Arthur then hands Kevin a pistol, then grabs the bag of equipment and slings it over his shoulder,

Arthur: take care, and I might be seeing you around

Mason: next time we meet we may have to arrest you, or hunt you down, hopefully not, but until next time, stay safe

Kevin: yeah, stay safe

Arthur: thanks, you too, be sure to return to your families

And with that, we go are separate ways and head back to our car,

Arthur's POV:

They seem like good people, hopefully they don't get into trouble because of me, but I have what I need, and now I can try and get some answers, and hopefully my memories, but I still need to prepare for what I need to do,

*time skip*

It's been about one month since Mason and Kevin brought what I asked for, and my time spent preparing has gone well, I now know where some of the old human bases are and vaguely what's there, there's two of them in the Alps, a major one around seelow heights, some further west, and then the one i woke up in near Konbress like I thought, but to get there I need to go through what used to be Warsaw,

Then I'm interrupted by a knock at my door, who else knows about this place, I quickly hide my equipment and put the helmet on and go to the door,

Arthur: who's their?

Kelly: it's me Kelly, mind if I come in?

Arthur: um, yes I do mind, can I ask why you're here?

Kelly: ok, sure, I haven't seen you in town in a while so I came searching to find you and see if you were ok

Arthur: I'm ok, just prefer to stay to myself, anything else you need?

Kelly: no not really, I mean a chat would be nice, my dad's getting here soon and it would be nice to talk to someone before he does
