{ Y/n's POV }

I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread since Kris hadn't returned yet, but I shook it off.

Kris is entirely capable of looking after themselves.

If they really needed us, they would've brought us, right?

I sighed, locking in for our game of tag that we were playing in the mansion lobby.

 I tagged Ralsei and ran off to use Susie as a body shield.

    "HEY, YOU CAN'T USE ME!! THAT'S NOT FAIR!!" Susie laughed. "YEAH I CAN!" I laughed back, dodging her attempts to grab me from behind her. Ralsei reached out for me and I pushed Susie into him. I ran off to the entrance and jumped behind the counter of the cafe, snickering.

  "You can't be in here!" Swatch hissed. 

    "SHHH..." I shushed them. I hid myself under the counter, hearing Susie approaching.

    "Y/N~ I'M COMING FOR YOU~!" she sang. I covered my mouth to muffle my breathing so Susie wouldn't hear me. 

She stepped up to the counter, leaning against it.

   "Say uh, Mx. Swatch. Have you seen Y/n around here?" she asked.

   "....No," they lied.

"C'mon, seriously? They're not very hard to miss! About ye short, super extra clothes, total simp, and y'know, A CHEATER AT TAG!" she banged on the counter. "Also um, could I have 3 But Juices?" her demeanor changed, her tone polite and soft. "Y-yes. Coming right up," they walked into the kitchen. Of course her big back ass ordered food while looking for me.

 I released a small sigh, thinking I was safe. 

Boy, I was wrong.

 Susie crawled over the counter and grabbed my leg, dragging me out from under the counter as I yelped. 

"You're. It." 

I groaned as she put me down.

  "Susie! Y/n! I think Kris is in trouble!" Ralsei screamed from the basement area. Susie grabbed the tea and ran back with me. "What is it, Ralsei?" I asked, concerned. "Kris still hasn't come back yet! I think something's wrong!" Ralsei exclaimed.

My suspicions were right.

God, I hope they just got lost or something, and nothing bad happened...

   "Then what the hell are we waiting for let's go!" Susie said, rushing through the door. 

We went into the basement and rushed down the stairs to see Kris passed out on the floor.

 It seemed like they were downed but tried to drag themselves back upstairs for help.

But from what? Is there something down here we don't know about?

   "KRIS!" I screamed. I rushed towards them and held them in my arms, saving to heal them. I stared hopefully into their eyes as they shot up, deeply gasping. I hugged them tight, kissing them softly. They melted into the kiss, pulling away as they caught their breath. My arms tightened around them. 

   "Don't do that again. For now on, we come with you," I whispered. "B-but you can't... H-he said 'come alone...'" they muttered weakly. 

  "Tch... Kris, you serious right now? You almost died down here!" Susie raised a brow, her arms folded.

"Susie's right. I don't care about whatever that guy said. I don't want anything bad to happen to you, Kris. I love you," I cupped their face. "I-I love you too," they smiled back.
