The bouncers open the exit doors, letting the two of us walk outside. I gently place her on the floor, and rest my hand on her lower waist. "We shouldn't have this conversation while you're drunk. I doubt you'll even remember this." I tell her, guiding her to a bench that's hidden behind a tree. God I really hope paparazzi doesn't show up.

"Why not. I like you, you like me. So let's talk about it."

I freeze again, my heart in my ass, and my face pink. "You like me?" I ask, Val smiling with her eyes shut.

"I think," she shrugs, resting her head on my shoulder again. "My head hurts."

"Yeah, we can't have this conversation right now. You don't even know what you're saying." I say, grabbing my phone out of my pocket and texting Roman to bring food for her.

She pokes up, leaning back, looking me in my eyes. "Yes I do."

"No you don't."

She inches closer, "Yes I do."

"No you don't."

"Yes I do."

"No you don't..." Our faces are inches apart, we're holding eye contact-her eyes look like they're twinkling. God she's beautiful.

"Yes. I. Do." She moves closer again but this time i back up-reluctantly of course. She frowns and her eyes soften, "what?"

"You're drunk. I don't want you to kiss me then regret it." I give her a smile smile, hoping to make her feel a bit better.

"Eveif I was sober yoush wouldn't kiss me." Her words slur together but I get what she's saying. "Youdon't even look me in the eye anymore."

My heart drops, "that's because...um...you make me nervous sometimes." I tell her truthfully, feeling a bit vulnerable now. "Anyway, the car's here." I try to switch the subject, helping her stand up.

"What?"

"We'll talk about this later-when you're sober." She stares at me for a moment before sighing and walking towards the car.

"Fine."
