( Hello everyone, after some delay of a couple of months. I am back to this with a new chapter. It's not super long, but I hope you enjoy it. I had a lot happen the past couple of months so.)
Yugi came back with some food for me, even some tea. Remembering it was something I enjoyed.
"So...tell me how is Atem, how were things? I know some but I guess what I'm asking is more recent."
" Well..., it was a bit shocking for me to hear him talk about the experiment he did with Mahad. Atem and I seem to be pretty good friends. Still, I do not know sometimes what he is thinking."
"good friends? No.., you are way more to him than just a good friend."
I kept myself from blushing. I wouldn't know exactly, neither Atem nor I ever mentioned the whole love story, and I care for you a lot side yet.
"I'm.., not sure Yugi. I did remember fighting to keep him from harm's way a couple of times."
"Oh! yes I remember that."
"How?" I completely forgot that Atem sent Yugi a letter. "Hmh, in the letter." Atem reached to his desk and lifted up a letter. It definitely was the paper-like fabric they had there. "Atem speaks highly of you, I can tell he cares a lot." Yugi joined me at my bedside.
"So what now, should we go to Egypt?"
"Of course, he is waiting for us. Or should I say you?"
"So...when do we go." I was afraid to push Yugi too far into this. Atem was right, he was willing to help. Of course, he knew Yugi's actions so well. They shared the same body for years.
"I will start looking for plane tickets tonight. I will let you know when I got them. How soon do you want to go?"
"Anytime, whatever you can find," I replied.
'I shouldn't make the poor guy wait so long....not after what he did for me.'
"Very well."
( Couple of Hours later)
I sent a couple of texts to some friends. One to Diva, one to Bakura, and one to Yusei. Each where a little different, they all explained how I was back now, and my plans.
Bakura was nice enough to bring some sweets to Yugi's house for me.
Yusei, did some extra grocery runs for Yugi, because he was taking care of me.
Diva...well he helped Yugi with finding plane tickets. He also brought some tea over, and some Egyptian sweets he had in his home. Ones that could make me feel like I was still there, back in Egypt.
'Oh my god....' Then it hit me.
'Kaiba! h-he's still in Ancient Egypt' My eyes widen in shock. I never said bye or even a word to that grumpy man. What could Atem possibly say to him? after he noticed I wasn't there anymore? Are they fighting? or did Kaiba accept this?
