Wrong Yet Feels So Right(Avalance)

Part 15

I know it has been awhile and I apologize, life truly gets in the way sometimes. But right now I sit in by bed with covid having all the time in the world to post some updates for you guys.

Time Skip...

Narrator's POV

It has been a few weeks since the two women have bought their rings and started the planning and tonight was the night that Sarah was going to pop the question. She had this whole event planned and their entire family would be there. Their family from Team Flash would be there, Team Arrow, Team Waverider, as well as Supergirl and her fiancé Lena Luthor(sorry I ship Supercorp and if you have an issue sue me). 

Sarah had Laurel coming to take Ava away for the day so she could get the house all set up for tonight and so it would be the best surprise for her. 

Sarah's POV

"Ava honey Laurel's here and says she needs your help and that its an emergency" shouted Sarah up the stairs.

"I'll be down in just a minute" screamed Ava back.

"hey thanks for doing this I really appreciate it I just need like 4 hours to se everything up", explained Sarah.

"Of course anything for my little sis" replied Laurel.

Narrator POV

Ava came down the stairs looking as beautiful as ever, and as she passed Sarah she gave her a kiss good bye and headed out the door with Laurel. With Ava officially gone Sarah sent out a mass text to everyone coming that the cost was clear and they should head over to help set up.

Time Skip....

4 hours later and everything was perfect and everyone was hiding the only thing left to do was for Sarah to actually pop the question to Ava.

Sarah's POV

God I am so fucking nervous, I know she'll say yes but even then it is still so nerve racking to think about. 

 I hear the jingle of the keys and I know that now is the day I have been counting down till and excited for. "Hey baby" Sarah said as the door swung open.

"Hey honey what is all of this for?"

"Come here and I'll explain everything."

Ava walked over to me and I grabbed her hands and placed a kiss to them.

"As you know we have been together for quite some time now and I have been thinking about doing this since day one. I know how cheesy it sounds but it was true love at first sight. And yes we have had our ups and downs, but we have had way more ups then downs. And no matter how many more downs we have together I'll be right by your side because it still means we are fighting for each other and our lives together. Two years ago I would Have laughed in a persons face for even suggesting to me settling down, but then you waltzed into my life and changed my view on everything in life." I got down on one knee and continued as everyone came out of their hiding spots, "So I ask you here today in front of all of our family if you Ava Shape will marry me and make me the happiest women alive?"

I look up at her and she has tears streaming down her face and the biggest smile plastered on her face, but her response had me so confused. "Wait right here don't move a muscle I'll be right back" said Ava.

I was at a loss for words as she ran up those stairs.

Ava's POV

I can't believe this happening she asked me to marry her AHHHHHHHHHH this is so exciting, but before I answer I want to get her ring for her.

I told her to stay put as I ran up the stairs to grab the ring. I went as fast as possible and as I was descending the stairs I saw her very confused look. So I got down on one knee with her and began the speech of my life. "Oh I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to leave you high and dry I just had to get this" Ava pulled out the ring. "I have been trying to plan the perfect way to propose and I think you cracked the code. You have surrounded us with the most important people in our lives and that is what makes this perfect. So I ask you Sarah Lance will you marry me?"

Narrator's POV

After Ava finished what she had to say they both said yes at the same time and their family all cheered for them as loud as they could. Both women were extremely happy and excited to be engaged to each other and could not wait until they started planning the wedding. For the rest of the night they all just shared laughs and good times until it was time for everyone to say their goodbyes. 

Ava and Sarah went up to bed that night with the biggest smiles across their faces and nothing was going to change that.

I kinda want to have some drama after this big happy thing, but what do you guys think? Should I make it have a little tension?
