It was around 2 o'clock when I heard Benny talking in his sleep "do it,go for it" "I don't want to be involved in this anymore" I went in and woke him up I couldn't stand to hear him like that "it's okay, everything will be fine" I said and he got up and looked at me I gave him a glass of water "I'm sorry I didn't want to wake you up again" he said "you didn't wake me up" I replied he's so sweet I pushed a lock of his hair away from his face so it wouldn't bother him "do you want to tell me what you saw?" I asked him and he looked me in the eyes "it's a long story I don't know where to get it from" he replied "anywhere you want" I said and he thought for a moment "it used to be me in Miami but after I turned 18 I left there because I no longer had anything to keep me there, the picture you saw was me and my sister 14 years ago when she was 5 and I was 16,From the age of 12 I stopped playing chess my dad had died and at 13-14 I was involved in bad (in quotes) groups unfortunately in these groups it was not simple things there were drugs there was alcohol there was exploitation and as time went on I got more involved,our finances were a mess and many times I would sell to have an income,of course whenever there was a tournament with a big prize money I would go and win. But it wasn't the same I did it out of necessity whereas now I play because it makes me happy. One Jackson was a head" "Head?" I asked him "he was well known because he sold quite a bit and he was much more involved and out of Miami, it just so happened one time I owed money and I went to pay it in and the day I was to pay it in he caught me and hit me quite a bit and Jackson came and "saved me" he hit him and told him not to touch me again,of course after that I owed him as he said and since I got involved with him things got worse, many times to do something he wanted he threatened me either with my family or but, he happened to pull a gun on me when I was 16 and I was yelling at him to come put me out of my misery to be your minion and he put it down and said if he wants he can hurt my family, Lizzie my sister and my mom, I felt so angry I just attacked him and hit him and I threatened him that if he hurt either of them I would kill him, I don't know how my sister is today because I lost custody of her 13 years ago, our mom was found dead and someone had to get custody of my sister and the only next of kin was me in court they came up with evidence about me some of it was true and some of it wasn't, a lot of things came out about me at the time like my drug involvement, I hadn't seen her in months and when they brought her into court to talk and she saw me she left the prosecutor's arms and came into my arms saying take me away from them I want to go home I want to stay with you and I didn't talk I just hugged her and of course the prosecutor took her by force from my arms, when they got my sister up to speak for me she spoke the nicest words, they asked her questions like if I was ever aggressive or hit her if I ever looked suspicious about anything if I ever fought with our mom and different questions like that, and she would answer that I was the best brother and that I was always there for her and that I did everything I could to make her happy,my lawyer was telling me that since my sister spoke such kind words and since I had stopped using I would win the court but the judge made a ruling that I was incapable of taking care of her and that I was forbidden to see her again and of course Lizzy understood that this was not a good thing when we came out of court and Lizzy came out they wouldn't even let me say hello but she still left them and came to me sobbing with
