Rio;
"I would like to stay with this family. But in order to do so there is one thing I need and one thing I want."

After Tiggger and Rio were changed and dressed for the day everyone was sitting in the living room getting ready to head out for breakfast. After breakfast they would be heading there separate ways, it was a school day after all.

Daddy Zake;
"I'm sure that I speak for everyone here when I say we would love to have you in our family. So what are these two things that you need and want?"

The room went quiet and all eyes were on Rio waiting for him to speak again.

Rio;
"Yesterday at dinner I stopped at the dragon's table. I spoke to Glenn. I told him that I wanted to stay with you. He agreed I could stay. But he also dismissed me as his guard and spy. Not only that, but he also cut the bond that we had. He is no longer my king. Right now I have no king. According to all that I know a dragon must be a king or have one. That or that dragon will die. So I have one year to ether clam land for myself, or pledge my allegiance to another king."

Rio looked around the room. Surprise was on almost everyone's faces. The exceptions were Kendria and Tiggger.

Rio;
"I am not strong enough to clam my own land and protect it. I will not be claiming my own land. So that leaves me with option two. To pledge myself to another king. So what I need is to be able to pledge myself to Tiggger as my new king. I have no other choice."

Tiggger;
"And if I told you that you did have another choice? If I told you that you have been lied to this whole time. That you needing to be a king or pledge yourself to one was a lie to give other dragons power. Then what would you want?"

Rio;
"I would still want to be in your family. I would still want to pledge myself to you. By doing so you would be able to better protect the family, myself included. I know I haven't known you long. But I already know that I trust you all more then I could ever trust Glenn or the other dragons under his control. He's not a bad king. I just don't trust him the way I do you."

Tiggger;
"You shouldn't trust me ether. I hold things back all the time. But before we get in to that. What was the second thing you needed?"

Rio;
"Not a need. A want. Something I want to be able to keep really. I'm sure that it will cause me a lot, and I'm willing to pay for it. I'm willing to do almost anything for it. I'll be your spy if you want. Even your puppy if that's what's needed. And mommies and daddies baby too. But the one thing I want... is to keep this wolf. I like the way I am now. But I want to be able to be the me I was too. And Kendria told me that I can change back and forth when ever I wanted to. So if you needed me to spy for you, this would make it easier. I could fly or ride somewhere as my big self then go all small ad no one would know. And that's just one way to use this. There are so many other ways I could be useful to you if I was able to keep little Wolfe."

Tiggger;
"Rio, Wolfe is your's. He is bonded to you. Nobody can take him from you or use him ether. And you don't owe me anything for him. Mommy and daddy payed for him and gave him to me. I used magic on him and gave him to you. He is yours not mine."
