The audience has already dispersed after the show and now everything has gone back to silence. Risa was peacefully checking her bag to see if she didn't forget anything. However, peace is far from what's happening in the first floor of the Casancho's building
"What is she doing here!?" Annie said, throwing daggers at Maeve
"Annie, calm down. Let her speak" Brian said, opting the woman in front of them to say her side of the story
"I just want to see her, please" Maeve's voice cracks at her last words. She cant help but to cry and pleads to them.
"You have no fucking reason to be here, you understand that!? This! All of this wouldn't have happened if you didn't fuck it up!" Annie shouted.
"And I know! I know that okay!? That's why I'm asking all of you to please let me see and talk to her. I just want to talk to her. Please I'm begging all of you" Maeve replied, crying as she looks at Risa's friends
"She doesn't need you to be here nor have a reason to talk to you, so please just go Maeve. Let our best friend go" Fion said, not minding the cries and pleads of the brunette. Lilian looks at her fiancée with a disappointed look because she believes that it's not just Maeve's fault why Risa wants to move out. For all she knew they are one of the reasons too. Considering Fion's outburst and the guilt that she might have been feeling because of what happened to their son. Lilian is a quiet girl but she's observant and she's no fool to not notice all of this. Well, maybe the only thing she didn't notice is how her son's been crying all night because of what's happening to her aunt.
"Will you just let her go!? Let her talk to Risa. Maeve was still her best friend. Let her at least have the right to see her!" Maeve's heart stings when she heard Avery used the past tense to indicate that she's Risa's best friend. Nevertheless, she's still thankful to her friend for sticking by her side this time
"You're saying that because you don't know what Risa has been through!" Annie butted in
"AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S BEEN THROUGH!" Frustrated, Avery shouted at all of them as she points at the brunette. She calms herself down fist before she continues
"you don't know what she's been through. She's her friend too you know. She's not just a nobody"
"And you're on her side!? Seriously, Ave? Do you even really consider yourself as Risa's friend" Annie interjected
"I'm not in anyone's side! I'm simply stating the truth, not like you who keeps Risa like a prisoner and tells her whom she met and not!"
"And I'm doing it for her own good! Your bitch of a friend doesn't have to be in the same room with Risa. For pete sake, all she ever want is to be happy and you can't give her that?" Annie said, now looking at Maeve who's still crying.
"I don't need your opinion. I need to talk to her!" Maeve said through gritted teeth, desperately emphasizing the word talk
"And that will never happen"
"Please, I love her." Maeve finally said the truth, her truth.
"And that's more of a reason why you should n"
"GUYS!" before Fion could finish what he's saying, Brian interrupted them.
"Let the brunette see our friend"
"Really, Brian!? Come on dude! Who's side are you!?" Annie said throwing both her hands in the air with a disapproving look.
"This is my house. As a respect, I want you all to do what I say and I say let her have a talk with Risa." Brian said with finality in his tone.
