I couldn't even remember falling asleep. My mind was so full of thoughts that I was out like a light in no time.

When I woke up the next morning, I felt a sense of clarity as if I had sorted through all the thoughts in my head while I was sleeping. I felt refreshed and energized, ready to take on the day.

Before breakfast, I decided I would post the letter. Leaving my room quietly, I knew there would definitely be some people still sleeping. Carefully, I made my way downstairs, careful not to disturb anyone.

To ensure I didn't wake anyone, I tip-toed to the front door and made sure to close it as quietly as possible. Once I reached the mailbox, I slowly and quietly opened it, and dropped the letter in.

As I turned around to leave, I paused to admire the peaceful atmosphere of the sunrise and made sure to keep it that way. Taking one final glance around to ensure I hadn't disturbed the tranquil setting, I made my way back to my room with a feeling of satisfaction.

With a smile of contentment, I closed the door behind me, knowing that the moment had been preserved.

I was dressed in my best attire and had taken extra care to maintain a neat appearance. I had taken my time to ensure that my hair was properly combed and my clothes were unrumpled.

Since there was still an hour left until breakfast, I continued to read one of my favourite books. I savoured the moment, taking in the sweet smell of fresh linen and the comforting feel of the chair beneath me.

After finishing three chapters, I took one last look in the mirror to make sure I was looking my best before heading downstairs.

I took a deep breath and smiled, knowing this was going to be a great day.

Opening the door, I entered a room full of people, feeling a wave of nervousness wash over me. But I kept my smile firmly in place, determined to make the most of the opportunity.

It was as usual for me to sit next to Catherine and Alexander as I do every time for breakfast. They smiled when they saw me and I knew they were happy to have me there, ready to start our day together.

We all enjoyed our breakfast together, talking and laughing as if it was the most natural thing in the world. We shared stories and jokes, and enjoyed the simple pleasure of being together.

The feeling of camaraderie and connection was palpable, and it was clear that the group was truly bonded by a shared experience. The breakfast felt like a respite from the world outside, a chance to just be.

Yet it ended so quickly. I wished it could have lasted longer, to savor the moment and the peace it brought. I lingered over my last cup of tea, wishing I could pause time and extend this moment of solace just a bit longer.

Sadly, I knew that I had to move on, knowing that I would soon be back in the chaos and noise of everyday life.

First I checked on the Beatrice family, the group of refugees. Even though they weren't related to each other, they said that they would rather stay together as a family so I decided to give the family a name.

Beatrice means 'one who brings joy' and that was exactly what this family brought. Just like Abbott means power in Greek and Latin.

"I'm coming in," I informed them, knocking on the door three times before opening the door. Upon entering, I asked, "Is anyone home?"

Not expecting anything less, the children ran around the living room as if it was a playground with all their new toys. Surprisingly, the children have managed to contain their enthusiasm for long enough to greet me properly.
